After the bell rang for lunch, it wasn't long before Y/N located her best friend. After all, Osoro's attire stood out in a crowd, not to mention the switch of atmosphere her presence caused. Y/N walked up behind her and poked her in the sides, causing Osoro to jump and swing her fist at the source of her annoyance. The E/C eyed girl ducked just in time to not get hit.

"Your reflexes are getting better Oso-chan, not bad at all" Y/N smirked at the angry expression on Osoro's face. Once the blonde recognised her friend, her sharp eyes relaxed slightly and her body fell out of her previous battle stance, but she continued to wear a slight look of annoyance.

"You should warn people before you go poking them Y/N. It might just blow up in your face," she sighed, beginning to walk again. Y/N grinned and matched Osoro's pace to move beside her.

"Where's the fun in that?" she asked rhetorically, letting loose a small giggle. Osoro gave her friend a deadpan look and rolled her brown eyes.

"Well, I could have easily knocked you out by accident. Is that what you mean by fun?" she asked with a raised eyebrow causing Y/N to scoff.

"Please... You couldn't knock me out even if you tried. Don't forget who taught you how to fight" she spoke, wagging her finger at Osoro playfully. The blonde smirked.

"Yeah, thanks to you I can now do this."

Suddenly, Y/N felt her head being pushed down by an unexpected weight. She struggled, but eventually managed to find a lose area in Osoro's hold and make it out unharmed. She glared playfully at her friend, who was busy trying to conceal the grin on her face. Y/N narrowed her eyes.

"Did you just try to cuff me Shidesu?" she asked with a mock angry voice. Osoro grinned and assumed an innocent expression.

"Noooo... why would I do that?" she spoke, raising her hands into the air with an incredulous look on her face, beginning to back away from Y/N. The H/C-haired girl took threatening steps towards her but suddenly Osoro broke into a run, leaving a flabbergasted Y/N behind.

"Shidesu Osoro! Get back here this instant!" yelled Y/N, beginning to run after her. She could hear Osoro's teasing laughs as she got further away from her friends and suddenly, Y/N had an idea.

'I'll just run the other way. She's probably heading for the incinerator where we usually eat.'

With that thought in mind, Y/N dashed in the opposite direction, ignoring the students that rushed to get out of her way. She sprinted as fast as she could all the way to the incinerator. Y/N hid behind the wall and waited for Osoro to arrive. After what felt like forever, the blonde finally made an appearance, panting heavily. Y/N smirked as she crept up behind her friend, only to jump on her back.

"Aha! Gotcha!" she exclaimed, tackling Osoro to the ground. The delinquent yelled out in protest, but Y/N managed to pin one of her hands back in such a way, that made it impossible for Osoro to move. The blonde growled out but Y/N merely tutted in disappointment.

"Never let you guard down, you never know who will attack you from around the corner."

Osoro grunted, hanging her head. "Yeah, whatever L/N, let me go already" she whined, which was very unlike her character. Unbeknownst to most students at Akademi High, the area near the incinerator held a special place in both girls hearts.

After all, it was the same exact place where Osoro learned to fight... and also the place where Y/N first came to trust someone as a friend.
