Sorry for how long it took to update. But here you go...

Shard's POV

There was a scream. No, it was not me. Like I'd ever scream in front of a bunch of people. No, that scream was a boy scream (even though it sounded so much like a girl). And that scream, was Stanford. Zoom and I grinned at each other at the thought of what he could have seen. "STANFORD! YOU WILL DIE FOR WHAT YOU JUST SAW!" Vert was yelling, we all peeked out the door as we saw Vert and Agura chasing Stanford. As soon as they disappeared, I turned to my boyfriend, and my brothers, Kala having left to go talk to Sage. "Probably a good thing that they didn't see that we saw." I said. They all nodded in agreement, and we shut the door, returning to the game of Risk we were playing. (Suggest you do not play that game because of how long and annoying it is.)

A few minutes passed, and Stanford ran in, leaning against the door. We all looked up at him. His face was red, and sweat was rolling down it. There was pounding on the door as he locked it, and ran into the pantry. I sighed, and looked over at everyone. "Should I?" I asked. They all nodded, and I stood up. I unlocked the door to a very angry looking Vert and Agura. "He's in the pantry." I said in a blank voice so they wouldn't notice I was trying to cover up laughter. I answered them before they could ask, and went back to the game. Currently I was losing, all of my armies being on Madagascar. Yet I also was winning because of how many armies were there. I decided it would be a good idea if I got all of my armies there, then spread out into the world. Spinner controlled the only two countries that led to it, and he was really mad that he couldn't defeat my armies. Well, that's what he gets for hitting me in the face with a frying pan. My cheek still really hurt from that. Zoom had Asia completely under his control, saying something like he wasn't letting his home continent get taken by us. I think that's what he said, anyway.

We all looked up at Agura dragging Stanford out of the room, Vert following, then went back to our game. "I suggest that we don't talk about... THAT." Sherman said quietly. We all nodded, and I placed three more armies on Madagascar. Now all of my armies were literally on it. "Spinner... defend yourself." I said, and he groaned. Somehow, to Sherman and Spinner's disappointment it was now only Zoom and I left. We settled on a tie after 3 hours of going back and forth between countries. He had half the world, and I had half. That was good enough for both of us.

I was walking through the hub with Zoom next to me, but we were in complete silence. We once again passed Vert and Agura sitting together, and we both gagged. We quickly moved on, and ended up leaving each other at some point. I was back up on the roof, guitar in hand, playing a few chords. After a few hours, it began to get dark. I knew that I should probably get down, but I didn't want to leave the quiet that was up here. I zipped up my leather jacket, and laid back, looking up at the stars above me.

I closed my eyes after a while, and felt someone sit next to me, wrapping their arm around me. I leaned my head on their shoulder, and finally opened my eyes. Zoom was sitting with his legs crossed, one arm around me, the other in his lap. He was staring up, and didn't notice me staring at him. He seemed so much sadder, and I wondered if he was alright. I closed my eyes again, and slid a bit closer to Zoom, placing my hand in his free one. I think he looked down at it, before looking at me. He softly rubbed my shoulder and hair, and after a few minutes, his hand started tracing my bruised cheek, but not enough for it to hurt. I felt a bit calmer with Zoom there, and the comfort that his aura was radiating. His finger traced my left cheek, running from my eye to my mouth, the length of the bruise. I could feel Zoom's muscles begin to relax as time went on, and he continued to rub my hair, shoulder and face softly.

We sat there in silence for so long, that it must have been 12 by the time we went back downstairs. I stayed in my room for a while, just lying on my bed. But I couldn't sleep. I slowly stood up, grabbing my jacket and throwing it on over my pajamas. I krept past everyone else's room, and went back up to the roof. I sat down, and just stared up at the sky. I must have fallen asleep at some point, because I woke up with the sun rising. I watched it slowly rise, and just continued to sit there. I was so lost in my thoughts about what happened in my past, that I had been sitting up there since I woke up for 5 hours. I still hadn't eaten breakfast, and it was probably lunch time by now. Yet I still did not move. I was surprised that no one had come to try and find me, but decided to stay up on the roof a bit longer, thinking about the day.
