Spinner's POV

"I can't believe it's been three years." I said, for once my mood was down. Sherman was beside me, the two of us sitting outside of Vert's garage. "Yeah. And to think, no one has seen her since." he replied. "It was all my fault, she probably heard that joke, and it was why she left. That stupid joke..." I muttered. "And mine too. I laughed along with you, which makes it my fault also." he replied. We sat in silence, not doing anything. This day was to remember someone that we had lost, no jokes, no doing anything. We don't even go to Zeek's on this sad day. I started to draw some small circles in the dirt with my finger. "I guess she really is gone." I said. "Who's gone?" Vert asked, Zoom following behind. I looked at Sherman, then the floor, not really wanting to explain. "An old friend of ours disappeared today three years ago." Sherman explained, seeing my face. "Three years ago. Did they have a motorcycle, black, super fast?" Vert asked, tapping his forehead. Sherman and I looked at each other. "Wasn't Sh... that was their bike, right?" I asked, not wanting to say her name. I couldn't say her name. Sherman nodded in reply. "Yeah, they flew right past me going around 90 miles per hour. Ha, made me drop the wrench I was holding while trying to fix my car." Vert said with a laugh. Then he saw our sorrow faces, "I'm sorry you two. We both are." Zoom said, placing a hand on Sherman and I's shoulder. I kept my head down, still drawing circles.

Our wrist watches beeped, and Sage's voice came on, "Storm shock opening in T-minus 3 minutes." We looked at each other. "So much for our quiet day, come on big bro." Sherman said, and we ran down to the Buster. We jumped in our vehicles, and drove out into the desert. "Be careful, I cannot locate the battle key with any of my sensors. And this zone is very dangerous." Sage's voice said. "So... are you going to do it, Spin?" Stanford asked in his annoying voice. I stayed silent, "Something happened that the brothers are... grieving." Vert explained. "Do you guys want to talk about it?" Agura asked. "No!" Sherman and I yelled over the comm system. "Okay, okay." Stanford said. "Just leave them alone, Stanford." Zoom snapped. "I know what it's like, so just let them grieve." He seemed to mutter something about calming himself down.

We entered in to the storm shock, and in the new battle zone. We landed, and looked around. "Sage was right, I'm not getting a battle key reading any where." Sherman said. We all got out of our vehicles. "And this zone does look dangerous. Especially with those blades." Stanford said, standing up in his vehicle. He was pointing to some blades that were shooting in and out of the wall. "Over there is where the key used to be." my little brother said, pointing to a rock with a battle key imprint on it. "Stanford, give me a echo map. We need to find this key." Vert said, walking up to the rock. Agura followed him, and we watched as she felt it. "Vert, nothing has been here for 5 or 6 years." she said, feeling the dirt. "So, why were we sent here?" I asked, finally speaking. "Maybe it's because the key never left the the zone?" Sherman said, looking at some computer. "We've got incoming, Sark and Vandal!" Zoom called from a rock up high. "Everyone, search for the key, and split up to do it!" Vert said, jumping back into his car. We all split up, heading in different directions. "Hey bro?" I asked, "What, Spin?" he replied. "I've got a reading on the battle key, and it's with them!" I said, pointing up at a figure with a black bike behind them. "Zoom, this is your fight. You got to stop that biker!" Vert said over the system. "I'm on it. I'm excited to see what this biker can do. Yehaaaw!" Zoom said, coming behind us. I lowered the ramp, and Zoom flew up into the sky. The person got on the bike, driving off. "Whoa. They went 0-70 in no time flat!" Sherman said, looking at a speedometer. "Who are they?" I muttered.

Zoom's POV

"I've got a reading on the battle key. And it's with them!" I heard Spinner say. I looked up, seeing a figure all in black... with a pretty sick ride behind them. "Zoom, this is your fight. You got to stop that biker!" Vert told me. I came up behind the Buster, and they lowered their ramp. "I'm on it. I'm excited to see what this biker can do. Yehaaaw!" I yelled, running my bike up the ramp. I went up into the sky, activating the Chopper's gliding system. The person got onto the bike, and drove off. "Whoa. they went 0-70 in no time flat!" I heard Sherman say. 'Whoa.' I thought. "Zoom. Stop them! Before the Vandals and Sark get the battle key!" Vert yelled. I nodded, "I'll find them." I said, looking below me. I found the strange biker, and dropped down after them. I drove as fast as my bike could go. Something came over my comm system, "I like your bike, got good skills with it too. But I'm curious, why are you coming after me?" a voice asked, but it wasn't my teammates.
