???'s POV
A computer screen popped up in front of me as I was driving, and I slowly came to a stop. The drone that I had sent to that Sark homeworld in our opposites multiverse had recorded an explosion happening. It showed another drone, playing a recording from a girl that... wait. That was her. But what happened? The group surrounding the other drone all looked devastated, and I could see where the energy factory that the Sark used to run was destroyed in the background. I stared, figuring out what happened myself, before hanging my head. I owed a huge debt to Shard, the girl in the hologram, and now I would never be able to repay it.
Hey, hey folks. Yeah, sort of a cliffhanger ending there, like, seriously, what happened to Shard? And who is this mysterious person that owes Shard a large debt? And seriously, what happened in her past that Shard is not proud of? But don't worry, I am going to make a second book that will answer all of these questions... I think.
