"I am saving Finn's life," Clarke looks to Leigh as if she is talking to her and not me

"I am saving Finn's life," Clarke looks to Leigh as if she is talking to her and not me. "Our people come first."

"What the hell is wrong with you all?!" Octavia rushes to Leigh's fallen form. "You both just want to fuck this all up to don't you?"

"Octavia! Language!" I scold her. Wasn't she just a baby yesterday, trying to learn how to speak, and now she is throwing profanities around. They grow up too fast.

"What are you, my father?" Octavia questions smugly. I watch as she rolls Leigh onto her back, petting the hair out of her face. Throwing her head up, Octavia glares, alternating between Clarke and me. "You both disgust me."

"Octavia..."

"No," she stands, marching towards me, "Don't Octavia me. You are hurting these people. For what? Do you think that hurting her," she points at Leigh, "is going to help in any way?"

"O, I'm trying to do what is best for us. For you," I try, pleading her with my eyes.

She rolls hers. "Whatever you say, your highness."

I turn away from her and towards Miller. "Take Leigh downstairs and place her in one of the cots."

"The grounder?" Miller asks, confused.

"Yes, her," I grab a few seatbelts tossing them to him, "And tie her wrists down. I don't want her getting out of bed."

He takes them and picks Leigh up, carrying her bridal style. "Yeah, we wouldn't want her to attack us all when she wakes."

I nod to Miller's retreating figure, Leigh's head dangling off his arm, her braided hair bouncing every step he takes, her peaceful face. But what Miller said wasn't what I was worried about. She needs to stay in bed so she can rest. I could tell when she walked in here that she was exhausted. Her wounds were really taking a toll on her and I could see her strength weakening. She just needed to rest and heal.

"You care about her." I turn and face Clarke after she speaks.

"Let's get this over with." I ignore Clarke, reaching for the seatbelt again throwing it against the grounder's chest.

Repeatedly. The sound of the buckle smacking against his body. His uneven breathing and soft grunts as he desperately tries to hold it in. I lose count of how many times the buckle ripped across his skin, piercing him.

"Enough!" Octavia's voice breaks me from my trance.

"Clarke! He's getting worse!" Raven yells from down below, sending Clarke into a panic.

"We're running out of time," she frantically says, grabbing the vials that Leigh had in her hands. That was before Leigh was held in Miller's arms, pain-filled cries exploding from her. "Which one? Which one is it? If you tell us they'll stop! Please, tell us which is the antidote and they'll stop this!" Clarke pleads the grounder. But he doesn't answer.
