Crossed The Line - Part 7

It had been another long day on tour. You did your normal crew jobs and then watched the set again to see Ricky play. It was a good show and it was fun to watch Ricky play again. Once you made your way back to the bus, The guys suggested that you all have a movie night tonight. You thought it would be fun to switch it up from the normal video games, so you happily agreed.

You sat on the couch next to Ricky and he slowly put his arm around you. He had been trying to make small advances on you ever since the night Ryan told him the two of you really do look like a good couple. None of the advances he made on you however came off that way to you though. He placed his hand on your shoulder and you slowly fell into his side, cuddling up next to him. It had been a long day after all and you were ready to just fall asleep if you were being honest.

Ricky looked down and smiled at you as he realized one of his many advances on you were actually maybe working. Ryan quickly shot a glance at Ricky, maybe Ryan's plan to get you two together was actually working! He gave Ricky a sly smirk before turning back to watch the movie. You cuddled more into Ricky's side as it began to get colder on the bus. There was nothing weird about cuddling with your best friend right?!?!

A little while past and before Ricky knew it, you were asleep on the couch with your head on his shoulder. It was only 10 pm but it was such a long hot day, and you couldn't keep your eyes open anymore. Ricky shifted a little bit trying not to wake you, but put you in a better position then what you were in now. After all he didn't want you to wake up in pain from sleeping wrong.

A few hours past and the movie that the guys had started was finally finishing. You were still asleep on Ricky which meant he was going to have to sleep on the couch with you. All the guys got up and blew little kisses to him teasing him about his current situation. He just replied by rolling his eyes and ignoring their small gestures.

Ricky had never realized how cute you looked when you were asleep. Of course he had never watched you sleep before, because that would be creepy, but now that you were asleep on him it was kind of hard not to notice you. He listened to your small breaths in and out as you were in such a deep sleep. Ricky sighed lightly and tried to get as comfortable as he could on the couch with you all over him. Hopefully tomorrow he would actually have the balls to ask you out, after all it was his day off tomorrow.

You woke up on Ricky in a weird position. It was cute how he didn't even move you during the middle of the night. You sat up on the couch, Ricky was still asleep, but that definitely needed to change. After all it was his day off today and he should enjoy it! You smiled weakly and poked Ricky's arm trying to get him to wake up which after a few hard pokes he did. He sat up and rubbed his eyes clearly looking like the tired boy he was.

"Morning sunshine." You laughed a little bit and laid back down on top of him. He laughed as a reply and wrapped his arms around you again. This was a nice feeling, it was something you haven't felt in so long, even if Ricky wasn't into you or anything. Ricky made you feel like an actual human being, something your ex never made you feel like.

"This is nice..." You looked at him and gave him a questioning look. Ricky knew he was going to have to speak up about his feelings at some point so why not just rip the band aid off now. "(Y/N)? Can I ask you something?"

"Oh um yeah go for it." Your heart sank. What was he going to say? You sat up quickly reading yourself for whatever he had to say. Hopefully you hadn't said or did anything wrong, you didn't want to lose this friendship after all.

"I know this is sudden and you are probably busy anyway, but would you want to go grab dinner tonight?" You were shocked. Had he just asked you out on a date? Maybe he did feel the same about you after all..... What if he turned out to be just like your ex though?
