It's been three days, since the explosion and the story about Mr Thompson being reported missing. I was on my way to college like normal, I arrived to see Jem in her usual spot leaning on the wall with her bag on the floor and holding her maths folder, but this time she had her gaze fixed to the floor, looking more anxious than normal.
"Hey, Jem" I say as I walk over to her.
"Hey, Ro," she said, not looking up from the floor.
"You alright Jem?" I ask her concerned.
"Yea, I'm fine just nervous about having a new maths teacher today" she said moving her gaze from the floor to look at me.
"Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine, Jem" I said trying to reassure my friend.
Before she could reply or I could say anything else the door to the maths classroom opened and a tall man stood at the door with short black hair and wearing a white shirt with a grey suit jacket and grey trousers.
"You may come in the classroom now," the man says, looking at the group of students outside waiting to go into the room. Everyone enters the classroom and sits in their usual seats. "Hello, my name is Mr Morrison I'll be teaching all of Mr Thompson classes, for the foreseeable future," the man says as he starts writing his name and email the board for us to make a note of if we need to contact him.
At lunch, we go to our usual spot in the cafeteria where Jack is already there waiting for us. "Hey Jemy, Hey Ro, how was maths?" He asked looking at Jem to see how she was doing.
"If you're asking about the new teacher Jack, he's alright a bit stricter than Thompson was but other than that maths was fine", I said as Jem nodded in agreement while eating her lunch, and our lunch went on like normal.

Robin: Can I carry on with my story now please, I want this over with.
After college had finished, me and Jem were getting ready to walk home together, whereas Jack was staying behind to get some work done in college. Earlier in the day, I had realised I left my coat in Mr Morrison's classroom, but I had decided I would wait till the end of the day and pick it up then, so I didn't disturb him during a class.
"Right Jem, meet me by the door in 5mins, I'll run up quickly to grab my coat," I said as we walked down the hall.
"Ok, Ro, see you soon," said Jem as I walk off to the classroom.
I reach the classroom and the door was open slightly but I could hear Mr Morrison inside talking to someone, I think I'll wait here till the person leaves but I can't help but listen to their conversation.
"Sir, he's an idiot, how am I expected to work with someone like him, seriously he does nothing but make bee themed puns, how he's a criminal I'll never know," said an unfamiliar voice.
"Calm down Bates, Barney isn't that bad," said Mr Morrison.
That's voice sounds like Shadow Spider! Mr Morrison knows Shadow Spider, how? I feel myself slipping into my thoughts trying to make sense of how my maths teachers know one of the most famous criminals in Eternia Heights. I must have been there for a few minutes as I'm pulled out of my thoughts to the sound of them making their goodbyes and walking towards the door. I run so that they don't see me. I ran down to where I agreed upon meeting Jem.
I ran over to Jem as fast as I could, "Whoa there Robin, what's wrong? you look like you've seen a ghost!" Jem said, trying to get me to calm down and catch my breath.
"Not a ghost, Jem no, a spider", I say catching my breath.
After I explained to Jem what I heard, we meet with Jack after he was finished with college back at the Treehouse.
"So what are you saying Ro?, you think your new maths teacher is friends with Shadow Spider, one of the most notorious criminals in Eternia Heights!" Said Jack, clearly shocked by the information he had just received.
"I don't know Jack, they seemed friendly to me and they were talking about someone called Barney," I said to them.
"So, could Mr Morrison be working for the Controller?" Jem said concerned looking at both of us.
"We don't know that", I said, "Not for sure". ________________________________

"Goodbye Bates, be careful nobody sees you as you leave!" I told my friend.
"Of course, Sir," my spider friend says as he leaves, "When am I ever not careful" and with that, he's gone.
In the corner of my eye, I could see a girl running down the corridor but before I could yell for her not to run in the corridor she was gone.
That was weird! I thought. The girl looked like it was Robin Swift from my maths class this morning, she left her coat in my room. I hope she didn't see Bates, and that's why she's running. I need to find out...
