Shower - Sodapop

i need a hug 🤧

I lazily walked into my bathroom, not liking the image of my morning self.

yikes

I shake it off and turned on the water, waiting for it to warm up. In the mean time I began to undress.

"Wow, y/n."

A cheeky sodapop said. I quickly reached for the nearest towel and covered myself up again.

"Jesus, soda. Don't you ever knock?"

He leaned against the doorframe.

"Nope. Can I shower with you?"

I sighed in annoyance, about to say no. Then I looked at him in the morning light. And then my mind changed.

"Fine. But no funny business, mister."

Soda "yes'd" out of excitement and I smiled. I put my hand in the water to see if it was hot enough. Satisfied, I took my hand out and dropped the towel, stepping into the shower, soda following suit.

"You know I think you're beautiful."

"I'm not... that pretty, soda."

Soda stepped closer to me, making me look up onto his face. He took my waist in his hands and made eye contact with me, making me blush. I wasn't flustered at the fact we were both naked, we were very comfortable with each others bodies. I blushed at the fact he was going spill some kind words next.

"Y/n.. You're the most beautiful girl in the world. How could you not think that?"

I looked away from him, letting the water run down my body.

"Soda, it's not as easy as you think."

"Well I know that. I just want you to make sure you know that I think you're gorgeous."

I smiled bashfully and looked up at him again, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him passionately. I didn't want to ever let go, but I had to so we both could breathe.

He mumbled something under his breath as he pulled away.

"What was that?"

I asked sweetly.

"O-oh nothin'"

"C'mon soda, tell me!"

"I don't know y/n.."

"Pleeeease, I promise, whatever it is, I won't-"

"I'm in love with you."

I didn't know how to react. He took the silence as a warning and spoke again.

"I-I mean, I knew I had feelings for you. But once I knew what love meant it all clicked. Y/n, baby, I'm so very much in love with you."

"I love you too, soda."

He pulled me in for a sweet embrace and we continued our shower in peace and in love.
