Ponyboy - He likes the "im not like other girls" kind of girls. Definitely wants someone he can watch sunsets with, also has to be at least ok at school. He cares about personality a little more than looks, and would probably date a hella introspective artist so they can be existential together. Has a thing for girls with glasses.

Johnny - Girls with confidence. Girls who aren't afraid to be who they are. Johnny needs someone who can bring out the confidence in him, but can also respect his boundaries when things get too much for him. He'd also want someone who can be there for him when he's down, and he'd do the same for her.

Dallas - Either super badass and fiesty girls or super sweet girls, no in between. Dallas either wants someone wild and adventurous he can fuck shit up with, or someone he can bring out a wild side in. There are pros and cons for either side with him, for example: He probably can't trust someone with a wild nature, but a sweet girl would be loyal to him if he proved he was worthy of her trust.

Two-bit - A girl who can put up with his dumb jokes. She doesn't have to laugh every time, but someone who would at least play along if it was required. He probably likes blondes (sorry brunettes) and a girl with a nice laugh, gives him another thing to look forward to when he makes a joke around her.

Sodapop - Won't admit it, but basic girls. The opposite of Pony, Soda likes girls who are exactly like other girls. Probably the girls who flirt with him at the DX, but he would never admit it. Cares about smaller stuff, like girls with nice eyes and a pretty smile. He also loves long hair because he likes to play with it.

Darry - Someone caring. Darry's at work a lot of the time so someone who would look after everyone and the house while he's away. Not like a maid, but more like a married couple. of course, he'd show her how much he appreciates it, and he'd love someone who knows how to look after him as well. Dont get it twisted, he'd do the same for you when you're stressed too.

Steve - Homie cares about looks too much. He probably likes the unidealistic view of women and gets frustrated when no one looks like that. However, he often shoots flirty glances to the flag girl at the races he attends, so i guess there's that.
