"You look interesting, did they get a new pet?" The man pondered, his voice thick with an Australian accent.
I stayed silent and kept myself close to the ground. The white thing I had followed was nowhere in sight, but I felt like I was being watched, not just by the man in front of me.
"What are you supposed to be? A wolf of some kind?" He asked out loud, taking a step closer to me. I settled farther down on my haunches and tried to look intimidating. All it seemed to do though, was make the man more interested if the look on his face was anything to go by.
Suddenly, another streak of white flitted through the woods and caught my eye. I glanced at it and then at the man, mulling over a decision in my head. Run or stand your ground?
Run.
My metal paws were almost silent as they pushed off of the ground. The white blur was getting farther away, but I kept following. It led me through thick trees and clearings, but then it stopped in front of a cave. I actually almost ran into it.
It hovered in the air, bobbing a little as it flittered. It was a whisp. The whisp was white with a light blue middle and it hummed as bobbed.
"Hello." It said. When it talked, it almost sounded like a chime, but it was like a whisper at the same time.
I bobbed my head in greeting.
Then suddenly the whisp gasped and turned red. "Run young Guardian, run!"
My fight or flight response didn't kick in before I was suddenly hit by something. An EMP.
I stumbled for a second before tripping and falling to the ground and blacking out.
~Time Skip~
As I came back into consciousness, I struggled to open my eyes. My eyelids were heavy and I felt exhausted.
"She's finally waking up." A voice cooed.
"Good, make sure she is contained." Another voice said this one was deeper, older, viler.
"Oh, she's contained alright." The first voice said.
I could feel braces around my wrists and my ankles and one across my stomach. Anxiety made my chest hurt and I was beginning to freak out. Finally, I got the strength to open my eyes and look around.
"There you are." The deeper voice spoke, leading me to look at an older man clad in a dark green bodysuit.
"Mind telling us what you are before we start? That Australian man didn't have anything on you when we bought you." The first voice asked. Another man, clad in green. But this one wore a mask and a coat.
I didn't say anything and kept silent, watching them.
"She does have these scars. Maybe she is mute." The first voice said.
"Then don't waste your time, get to work." The older voice said. The man who spoke first looked down at me and shrugged before grabbing something off of a table to his right. My eyes widened and my heart rate went through the roof as I watched him flick the top off of a syringe and jab it into my arm. I had to fight with my own mind to keep silent, but that only made the drug that the guy injected work faster and knock me out again.

The house. Familiar.Parents are here. Yes.
Mind is cloudy. Yes.
I opened my eyes and my head felt foggy as hell. My body felt almost numb and it was a major effort to sit up. I was laying in the grass. In front of me was the house from my 'dreams', the one with my parents in it.
