Joshua's POV

"Dad I don't know if you heard that but Daniel told Hope the truth and now she ran away. I'm going to go follow her to make sure she's ok. Your the only other person who knows..."

Chapter 3

Hopes POV

I'm running and I don't know where, just away from their house. I stopped as soon as I hit town. I looked around. Did I even bring money? I went to my pockets and felt around. Lets see... 30 bucks... keys... umm... paper..? candy... and trash. At least I have 30 bucks.

Time to make some money!

I walked for a while and saw an ally and walk towards it. I soon saw people gambling.

"Can I join in?" I asked.

They looked at me, 5 men in total all bout in their late 30's. One was a blonde who I'm going to call dude 1, a red head who's dude 2, black haired who's dude 3 and two brunettes who are dude 4 and 5.

"Looking what we got here." Dude 1 said.

Aww crap, their drunk! Oh well more fun.

"It's a girl. Hey girl what are you like 15?" Dude 2 said.

"Yes." I said even though I could TOTALLY pass for 18.

"And you wanna play with us?" Dude 1 said.

Dudes 3, 4, and 5 were looking at my boobs. Perverts.

"Yes, I do. I need money and this is how I'm gonna get it." I sat down, "What are we playing?"

Dude 2 answered, "Poker."

I frowned.

I'M AMAZING AT THIS GAME! Let the game begin.

"I'm really bad at this game but let's play anyway." I said innocently.

"Alright I'll put 3 bucks in." Dude 3 said

"Raise you 5." Dude 2 said.

They all looked at me.

"Umm...." I got 10 bucks out. "I call your 8 and raise you by 2." I put the 10 bucks down.

The the rest put down ten. Dude 5 gave out the cards. After getting the cards we started. The game went on.

"Straight." Dude 1 said

Dude 2, 3, and 4 put their cards down.

"Flush." Dude 5 said.

All of them looked at me.

I smiled. "Gentlemen. Royal. Flush. Read them and weep."

I put my cards down and took the money. Now I have 80 bucks. Sweet.

I stood up.

"It was nice playing but I have to leave. I won't tell anyone bout this game. See ya." I walked away and out of the ally.

Where to now? My stomach growled. McDonald's! I walk towards McDonald's.

I looked up at the sky and saw the sun, no clouds in sight. I passed by a sunglasses shop. I walked in and picked out these black sunglasses, they had a skull design on the frame. I looked at the price tag; SALE $3.00. Sweet. I went to the cash register and saw a 16 year old dude. Blonde and had a tan. He wasn't hot AT ALL. He was checking me out.

"Hey you ready?" He smirked as if it had a second meaning, it does.

"Yeah now stop checking me out, I'm customer here." I handed him the sunglasses and gave him 5 bucks.
