"Good morning."

Jungkook opened his eyes slowly, a sleepy smile taking over his face when he saw Taehyung looking at him.

Light flooded in past open curtains, creating an angelic halo around Taehyung's head. His hair was tousled around his forehead, silvery brown falling messily into his eyes.

"Good morning," Jungkook giggled, shuffling in the bed and curling closer into Taehyung's side. Taehyung laughed softly and kissed Jungkook's forehead. He wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist and held him tightly.

"Hey, don't go back to sleep!" Taehyung teased. Jungkook whined and opened his eyes again, glaring at Taehyung's perfect face.

"Did you already forget?" Taehyung asked, rubbing Jungkook's waist. Jungkook looked up at him, his brows furrowing out of confusion and shook his head.

Taehyung chuckled. "We have that high school reunion to go to." Jungkook pouted, willing the sun to go back down so he could sleep longer.

"Aish, get up," Taehyung scolded, starting to poke at Jungkook's sides. Jungkook flinched and sat up, the pout still sitting on his lips. Taehyung rolled his eyes and leaned in to kiss the pout off his lips.

Jungkook groaned. "What time is it?" he asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Taehyung sat up from the bed and glanced at the clock. "2:30."

"What?" Jungkook squeaked, quickly jumping out of the bed. Taehyung laughed and threw a shirt and pair of pants at Jungkook, ushering him into the bathroom.

"Hyung," he whined from inside the bathroom, frantically washing his face and fixing up his hair, "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?"

"You were sleeping so peacefully," Taehyung said, leaning against the doorway, "I didn't have the heart to wake you up." Jungkook glared at him, a toothbrush sticking out from in between his lips.

"And plus," Taehyung began, waltzing into the bathroom. Jungkook looked at him weird, taking a few steps back to give him space. He ended up getting pinned against the sink, trapped in between Taehyung's arms with a bright blush on his face.

Taehyung leaned in close, his breath tickling Jungkook's ear. "You had a rough night last night," he teased, brushing his lips against Jungkook's jaw. He stepped back, a smirk taking over his face when he saw the pretty blush on Jungkook's cheeks.

Jungkook glared at him and Taehyung only smiled at how flustered he was. One of Taehyung's arms slid down from Jungkook's waist and squeezed his ass. Jungkook squeaked and roughly pushed Taehyung out of the bathroom.

"Now we're definitely gonna be late to meet up with everyone," he whined again, a little muffled since his mouth was full of toothpaste. Taehyung laughed and patted his butt, wandering out of the bathroom and into another room of their apartment.

"I don't think anyone would mind," Taehyung began, slipping his shirt over his head and putting on a nicer one, "Except for maybe Jin-hyung." Jungkook shuddered at the thought, rinsing his mouth out and changing out of his pajamas as well.

Jungkook waltzed out of the bathroom, clad in nice jeans and an even nicer shirt. Taehyung smiled down at him and placed a hand on his waist. He brought him in close and pressed a gentle kiss to the boy's cheek.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked, his lips ghosting over Jungkook's lips. Jungkook nodded, closing his eyes and waiting for a kiss on his lips.

Taehyung smiled and softly pressed his lips against Jungkook's, smiling into the kiss. They pulled away and Jungkook smiled, pulling Taehyung into a tight hug.

"I love you so much," he mumbled into Taehyung's chest. Taehyung laughed and wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist tightly, tucking Jungkook's head under his chin.

"I love you too."

Jungkook loved Taehyung with all of his heart. He loved how Taehyung was the one that made him see the real Jungkook, not the one hidden behind pompoms and drugs.

Jungkook finally learned how to love himself. And in doing so, he learned how to love someone else along the way.

tada that's the end

but in all seriousness i want to leave it at this because i feel like a sequel might ruin the book and in all honesty, i was kinda having a hard time writing some of it. bUT now the end is here and a big thank you to everyone that enjoyed it and voted and left comments along the way. it means a lot :)

soooo now that i've finished this book i think i'm gonna work on retrospective and either rewrite cake waltz or publish one of two of my new ideas haha. check it out if you want? idk it's honestly up to you guys
