"The championships are next week, right?" Jungkook asked, his feet falling in time with Suho. Suho nodded, clad in a black sweatshirt and ripped blue jeans.

"We're going out to Daegu for it," Suho responded. Jungkook nodded awkwardly. Silence settled over the two of them.

"Have you decided who you're rooming with yet?" Suho asked, looking down at Jungkook with wide eyes. Jungkook shook his head.

"Is your coach gonna let you room with the other cheerleaders?" Suho asked again. Jungkook shook his head and giggled.

"She somehow doesn't know that I'm gay," he began, kicking a rock that was in their path. "There's no way she'd let me room with Hyuna or Yeri."

Suho furrowed his eyebrows. "How does she not know you're gay? I mean," he said, looking Jungkook up and down. Jungkook stifled a disappointed laugh and settled for awkwardly looking away.

"Sorry," Suho said rather quietly. Jungkook shook his head and brushed it off. "It's fine," he mumbled, and let the awkward silence fall over them again.

Jungkook followed Suho awkwardly through the crowd and sighed when they got to the movie theater. He couldn't tell what was going through Suho's mind. Did Suho think this was a date?

"What movie are we watching?" Jungkook asked, pulling out his wallet to pay for his ticket. Suho glared at Jungkook's wallet.

"It's a horror movie that had some pretty good ratings," Suho replied, giving his card to the cashier and paying for both his and Jungkook's ticket. Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows together.

"Oh," Jungkook said, following Suho to the concessions stand. He watched with his eyebrows furrowed in a knot as Suho paid for a popcorn and a large soda.

"What's wrong?" Suho asked, looking down at Jungkook with his snacks in hand. Jungkook shook his head and relaxed his face before snatching the popcorn out of Suho's hand and marching to the theater.

"It's the other way," Suho chuckled and Jungkook blushed.

When they got to their seats, Jungkook awkwardly kept his hands in his lap as he waited for the movie to start. He stared down at the people in front of him, they were seated in the very back, and Suho stared forward at the screen, occasionally picking from the popcorn in his lap and sipping from his soda.

Soon the theater's lights dimmed and Jungkook sighed, knowing that the next two hours were going to be hell. He wasn't even sure if he could truly enjoy the movie.

"Hey," Suho mumbled. They were already a good twenty minutes into the movie and there hadn't been a jump scare. Jungkook was disappointed.

"What's up-" Jungkook began, replying in a low voice and turning to Suho. But Suho's mouth cut off Jungkook's words and Jungkook's eyes went wide.

He stared at Suho for a moment, barely comprehending the feather-like weight of Suho's lips on his. Suho's eyes were closed and Jungkook jumped when his lips began to move.

But then Jungkook closed his eyes and got lost in the feeling.

Who was stopping him from messing around? It certainly wasn't Taehyung, or else they'd be dating already.

Jungkook gasped when Suho reached over the armrest to place his hands on Jungkook's waist. The feeling was foreign, and reminded Jungkook of nothing like Taehyung. But that didn't stop him from pretending it was Taehyung.

Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck and twirled his fingers in his hair. Taehyung kissed back harder, pulling Jungkook's body closer to his. Jungkook sighed against Taehyung's lips, breathing in the faint smell of-

"Christ, I can't even enjoy a movie without hearing people practically fucking behind us," someone mumbled from in front of them, just loud enough for the two of them to hear. Jungkook pushed Suho away, flattening down his own hair which had grown messy.

Jungkook looked back at the screen and sighed when he saw the credits begin to roll. He stood up with Suho and awkwardly walked out of the movie theater, trying not to make eye contact with anyone who might've heard or seen them making out.

"Thanks for coming today," Suho mumbled when they got to the entrance of the theater. "It's no problem," Jungkook said with a smile, his swollen lips puffing out a little more than usual.

"Do you need a ride home?" Suho asked. Jungkook shook his head. "I live right across the street," he said and gave Suho a hug before Suho got in the car. Suho waved at him before pulling out of the parking lot and driving off.

Jungkook sighed but jumped when he felt his phone vibrate. He unlocked and smiled when he saw a text from Taehyung.

Taehyung 🥵
are you doing anything?

Jungkook
no. . . what's up?

Taehyung 🥵
can we hang out?

Jungkook
sure! you can come over to my house
i'll send you my address

Jungkook giggled and sped up his walking pace from hetero to gay. Soon enough, he found himself at his house and quickly unlocked the door and ran inside up to his room to make sure everything looked okay.

Jungkook jumped when the doorbell rang and ran downstairs, not even bothering to check who was at the door before swinging the door open.

"Taehyung!" he practically screamed, throwing his entire body weight onto Taehyung. Taehyung laughed nervously and basically carried Jungkook back into his own house.

"Why did you want to come over?" Jungkook asked once the two had settled themselves in his room and Jungkook had detached himself from Taehyung.

"I..." Taehyung began, anxiety swirling in his eyes, "I was lonely."

Jungkook pulled his lips into a thin line and hugged Taehyung again. He bit his lip and took in a deep breath, before sitting up and planting his lips on Taehyung's.

Taehyung hesitated for a moment, before relaxing and kissing Jungkook back. Their lips moved together to a silent melody and Jungkook pushed his body closer to Taehyung's.

I really like you, Jungkook thought as his back hit the bed.
