The day flew by quite quickly. For the most part I observed the relationship between the boys. How they'd wrestle or pick fun at one another. The smiles that came so easily to them.
They made sure to include me in their conversations, even though I would rarely speak up. I even began feeling more comfortable, safe. I found myself smiling slightly, or close to giggling. But I made sure to catch myself, for fear this is all a dream.
I left Kota's around six and made my way back home. Before walking inside, I took a deep breath and hoped for the best.
● ● ●I crept quietly to my bedroom and finally released my breath. I took a moment to relax before I head downstairs to the kitchen to start dinner.
Looking around my room, I take note of everything. Something felt off but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Almost seemed like something was missing or different. I didn't like not knowing either. A chill of unease went through me.
So I shook my head of that thought and wroked my sore body down the steps. Now that nobody was around, I didn't have to try as hard to keep up the act. No need to pretend to be unhurt, when the cause for the pain, also lives in the house.
Dragging ingredients together, I made chicken spaghetti and ham and cheese sliders. Then when I wasn't immediately occupied making the actual meal I decided to make some carrot blueberry cupcakes.
Finishing dinner, I set the table and laid out just enough of the food for Marie, Step mother, and Father. Then I called for them, telling them it was finished. I stepped back, bowing my head with my hands behind my back as I listened to their light chatter and silverware scaping across plates.
"Sang, you're starting to look a little fat. I think you should skip eating dinner. Just throw the rest away, clean up and go to bed," my father told me. Even put in words of a suggestion, you could hear the demand. So no dinner for me.
"Yes, father. Thank you."
● ● ●I had decided to pack the leftovers up for lunch. Hopefully the boys would appreciate it. But I also knew that I couldn't take them all myself. So before I could second guess my decision, I stwcked up the multiple containers, and ran across the street to Kota's.
When he opened the door and saw me, he gave me a big smile that knocked my breath away, before ushering me inside.
"Sang! What a surprise, is there something wrong?"
I stuttered a moment before responding. "N-no. I thought I would bring over food, so you could pack it for lunch tomorrow."
Looking into his green eyes, I tried giving him a small smile, before I looked away.
From my peripheral, I could see him shake his head. He then reach forward and took some of the containers, before leading me into the kitchen.
I carefully laid the food onto the counter with the rest right as the air shifted alerting me of another presence in the kitchen. I spun around to see who it was. My body tense.
Only to see Brandon standing in the doorway. I slightly relaxed before gathering the nerves to say anything.
"Hey, Brandon. I just b-brought food over."
He looked taken aback. But I didn't know what I did wrong so I nervously broight my finger to my lip and looked down.
"Hey. Sang, it's okay. I was just a little shocked you could tell I wasn't Corey."
I heard him shuffle over to me and gently tug my hand down.
"Thank you Sang, we would probably have forgotten to take our own lunch. You did us a huge favor.'' Kota spoke softly to me.
I nodded before running out the door.

The moment I walked inside I froze.I heard my mother calling for me and I only hoped she had no idea about my new friends. But if not that, then what would I have done? What would my punishment be? But instead of pondering and taking time that could potentially get me in more trouble I walked the direction of her voice and found her standing in the living room.
Her cruel and hate filled brown eyes were dull as she stood with her arms crossed. I could practically see the anger rolling through her in waves. Once I had stepped fully inside the living room, I tucked my hands behind me and faced the ground, as I waited for her next move.
"So you finally found some people to sell yourself I see. I don't know why I even bother asking you why. Its completely clear that you're a dirty whore. Can't live without a man between your legs. I'm just angry that my daughter had to witness it."I jerked my head up in confusion. At first I thought she knew about the boys. But now I'm not sure whats even happening.
"W-what?" I croaked out to her."DON'T 'WHAT' ME!! YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT. My baby girl had to WITNESS what a SLUT you are. She only needed to borrow a book and she found THIS, instead!!" She bellowed at me. Her face turned red in anger. Her matted brown hair sticking to her neck from sweat.
But nothing registered through my mind than utter shock. I shouldn't have been surprised that Marie found a way to get me in trouble. But I never thought she would take it this far. It's almoat like she WANTS me to be killed.Because in my step mothers hand, being thrusted in front of my face. . . It didn't come from me. To be honest I wouldnt even know where I'd even buy these. But clearly mother thought it was from me. Because her baby girl wouldn't lie to her. Her baby girl is a precious little angel, that has and will never do anything wrong.
So of course, when Marie brings somwthing like this to step mother and tells her its mine... she's right. And I'm the one in trouble. Paying for a punishment that I don't deserve.
Because what was in mothers sweaty tight grasp was a roll of condoms.
I just know this punishment will be hell.
