By the time lunch arrived, I was exhausted. There were a few more notes saying about the same things. Threats. My body was in so much pain that I could hardly concentrate on anything.

I dreaded the busy hallways. Full of kids running and bumping into me. Causing new shocks of torment to race through my back. My breathing growing more and more labored, as my dizziness grows.

So when I had finally made it to my normal seat in the courtyard, I immediately laid my head down in fatigue. My trembling body relaxing a fraction at the break of movements.

Moments later, I could feel the slight shift of air as seats were taken around me. Voices softly speaking to one another as the rustling of containers and wrappers indicated to them getting out their meal.

I hadn't even realized I had fallen asleep until I heard a soft calming voice calling my name.

"Sang, we have only a few minutes until the bell rings. Are you okay to go to class? Or do you need to visit the nurse?"

I look up somewhat reluctantly to see Kota's concerned green eyes looking at me. I shake my head before standing up. A wave of nausea rolls through me, so I take a deep breath to righten before walking to next class beside Silas.

After settling down in Biology, I realized that my falling to sleep meant I never told the guys about the notes. So they have no clue to be on guard for if something really was to happen. Then if they were hurt, it would be all my fault.

Guilt and panic consumed my mind until I couldn't handle it. I hurried to pick through my bag and scooped up all the notes and hurriedly tossed them all on Silas' desk. Then I tore a piece of paper out of my notebook and quickly scrawled a letter to silas to explain as best as I could.

I meant to speak to you all at lunchtime. But I accidentally fell asleep. And now I feel horrible. Because this is important. I've been getting these notes throughout my class periods. I couldn't figure out who was writing them though. But I wanted to tell you all so you all knew to be cautious and on the look out for anything strange.
                             I'm sorry.

I then fold it in half and write my name on it before handing it to Silas also. Then face forward and try to pay attention to class.

The key word was 'try' because I couldn't concentrate on anything with the guilt building inside me. Silas has yet to finish reading the notes, and I was becoming impatient with the anxiety running through my body.

But right as I went to turn around, a siren-like noise rang through the building. Then before I could comprehend that it was a fire alarm, students were scrambling and pushing one another to get out the door.

I had just stood from my seat before I was being jostled and hearded into the crowded halls. I ignored the raging pain as I urgently searched for Silas.  But my 4'10 height wasn't able to see over the bustling kids. So I tried just following the flow outside.

Before reaching the bottom of the dirt covered stairs, I was being yanked by my shirt in the opposite direction. I tried pulling away from the smell of B.O. and old menthol, but it only caused another hand to grab my hair and drag me along with the first hand.

I struggled to regain my footing as the guys dragged me up two flights of stairs. When we finally made it, they shoved me roughly on front of them. Laughing as I fell knees first into the floor.

The shock of pain in my knees, was nothing compared to my back. Only a dull throb, that had me gasping in surprise.  Then seconds later I was pushing my stiff body off the ground to glare at the two boys.
