Chapter 13: Taken

Beacon Academy - Team RWBY's Dorm

Blake POV

Just like any other normal day, I sat down by my bed continuing the book spree I'm currently doing with Y/N's jacket wrapped around me. But of course someone had to stay near me as I try to read my books in peace. Yang was bickering nonstop about how she confessed to Y/N during their night out, and how he didn't seem to believe her since she was drunk. "AND THEN WE KISSED!" Yang exclaimed as Ruby and I looked at her in surprise. "But apparently we couldn't go any further since I was drunk. But it was nice of him to not take advantage of others, he's just making me fall for him even more~".

Yang dreamed as I had a confused look on my face, while Ruby simply sat near us disgusted about hearing the man she likes kissing her sister. Before any of us could speak up, Weiss appeared out of literal thin air as she slowly began gaining consciousness, still laying on the floor. "WEISS!" We shouted out as we all make our way towards her. "Weiss what happened to you!?" Yang asked as Weiss sat up still holding her head in pain.

As if she remembered something, she went wide eyed before jolting up to her feet glancing all over the place. "Y/N! WHERE IS HE!?" She asked as we all turned to one another in confusion. I slowly went beside her placing an arm on her shoulder in concern. "Weiss, you just appeared out of thin air. What happened? Did something happen in the party or something?" I asked curiously as I lead her towards her more comfortable clothes.

After changing out of her dirty dress, we all sat at each other's lower bed trying to understand and comfort Weiss. "I-I'm not sure, I was just talking with a bunch of people t-then out of nowhere Y/N screame, warning us about something. And then three figures entered the ballroom right before a huge explosion started occurring around us. Next thing I know Y/N tackled me from the blasts, assuming he sent me back here after noticing I passed out from shock..."

She explained, still shivering at the thoughts. Yang and I had shocked and sympathetic looks on our faces, while I glanced over to Ruby whom had a confident look.

"Well come on, we have to tell the others about this. He needs our help right now." She said in confidence as I look at her, surprised from the sudden decision. I stood up from my bed before walking in front of her, stopping her movements. "Ruby, it's late at night and Weiss is in no condition to fight and move at the moment. Better yet if Ozpin finds out we sneaked out at this late at night, we can be in trouble. Plus we have no idea what happened to Y/N ever since the tragedy happened nor know where he's at... We can inform his team and Professor Ozpin first thing tomorrow."

I said trying to calm her down, only to have her shove my arm off of her shoulder. "NO! Y/N IS STILL OUT THERE SOMEWHERE. I-I don't want to l-lose another person I care about... n-not when mom just came back..." She cried as Yang hurried over beside her, comforting her in a warm hug. Realising the similar situation that's going on, I brought up a past occurrence that happened.

"Remember when you guys kept telling me to get some rest as I constantly tried to keep myself updated about the White Fang?" I asked as they all look at me quite confused. "You were there for me when I was blinded by my rage and anxiety, now let me return the favour Ruby... Please." I said pleadingly as Ruby slowly calms herself down, slowly nodding seconds after. "f-fine... We tell them as soon as one of us wakes up... ok?" She muttered still trying to compose herself as I nodded assuringly.

Deciding to not waste anymore time of rest, Weiss split us up telling us to get some sleep for the day we set out to find Y/N. Once we were in our respective beds, I took off Y/N's jacket off of me as I placed it over the center table, softly caressing it. "Don't worry Y/N, we'll be there for you... like how you were there for all of us." I muttered, heading towards my bed for some much needed rest.
