The week went by faster than I expected. Hardly seeing Damien around the office due to scheduling and well, life. We have been texting through out the week after Sunday. The few times I have seen him, we didn't have the time to talk. Either he had to rush off to a set, or I had to rush off to meet someone. I even watched some of one of his twitch streams.

When 4 o'clock on Friday rolled around, I finished up the last of what I had to do before shutting off the desktop. Jumping slightly when I heard the door get thrown open. Looking up, my eyebrows raised when I noticed Courtney had walked in.

"Yoo Hoo!"The blonde exclaimed as she dropped down on a chair at the desk across from mine. "What are you doing tonight?"

"Uh. Going home, maybe opening a bottle of wine and forgetting adult responsibilities?" I answered as I leaned back in my seat, crossing my legs. "Do you want to join? We can forget our adult responsibilities together."

"Oh heck yes! We can gossip about work, and boy. Hell you can even give me the gossip on you and Damien." Courtney wiggled her eyebrows before standing up. My eyes widen when I heard her mention myself and Damien.

"Wait what?" I quickly scrambled to grab my stuff and follow her out of the office. She flashed me a grin as we walked out to the parking lot. "So are you coming to mine? So i can get out what you know about Damien?"

Courtney nodded as she climbed into her car. I made sure she was following me on the way to my apartment. Pulling in where there was an empty spot besides mine. She walked into the apartment almost as soon as I unlocked the front door. Looking around the place as I followed after her and put my purse and keys down on a table by the door and kicking off my shoes.

"Help yourself to whatever. Wine's in the fridge. Do you want a pair of sweat pant?" I asked as i walked to my room. Waiting for her reply before shutting the door and quickly changing into a pair of black leggings and pulling on a large black hoodie. I grabbed a clean pair of sweatpants and walked back out. Tossing her the pants. Courtney disappeared into the bathroom after I told her where it was. After she came out and we got settled on the couch, wine glasses in hand she looked at me with a grin.

"So you and Dame... Whats going on there?" She said as she took a sip of her drink. Glancing down at my drink as I crossed my legs on the couch.

"I don't know what you mean." I mumbled, feigning innocence.

"Oh come one. I have not see Damien this happy lately, or glued to his phone for that matter. There has to be something. And from what I know about you, you're always happy, but you've had more pep in your step so to speak."She explained as she turned to face me. I struggled to keep the smile off my face, but it eventually appeared after a few seconds.

"We're friends.. Sunday he took me around the city, we had lunch. It was a nice day. We've been talking all week. But I don't know. I think i have feelings for him. I like talking to him, spending time with him. It's just, where does he stand?" I replied before taking a drink from my glass.

"That's the thing about Damien. He's pretty shy and doesn't really say what he's feeling. " She stated as she gave me a small smile. Sighing softly as I looked down again. My phone pinged from where I had shoved it in the pouch of the hoodie. Pulling it out and reading the text before replying back. Apparently the notification made me smile, causing Courtney to grin at me.

"Speak of the devil?" She asked eagerly as she leaned forward to try to see the text. Tilting my screen so she could see the picture Damien had sent me of himself and Shayne doing some weird faces. Courtney burst out laughing when she saw it. "Dude, you should invite them over."
