Courtney perched on the end of my bed, her legs crossed as she took a sip from her cup of coffee. We both lost tract of time after we woke up and ate breakfast. I was currently, once against digging through my closet for something to wear tonight. Grumbling with frustration, I pulled my hair back into a messy bun and turned to face Courtney. She watched me with an amused expression. Pouting slightly, sitting on the floor in front of my closet. It seems most of my clothes were currently all over the bedroom floor.

"I swear, never have I ever had this much trouble trying to figure out what to wear on a date." Grumbling as I fell backwards, my arms out stretched.

"Ohhh, someone has the feels." Courtney sung out. Grabbing one of the throw pillows on my bed before tossing it at me. "Its not that hard. Clearly you already caught his interest. Now all you gotta worry about is making his jaw drop."

Lifting my head from the ground to stick my tongue out at her before letting it lay back again. She was right actually. He must be interested if he asked me. But still, there was that nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to pull out all the stops. Every other date before now they never bothered me. For some odd reason, this was causing me to over think everything and I wasn't sure just how good of a sign it was.

Sucking in a deep breath and sitting upright again. I was determined to find something soon. Glancing back at Courtney before gesturing to the mess on the ground.

"Well are you gonna help?" I teased as I started to go through the piles. She rolled her eyes before setting her cup down on my nightstand and rolling off the bed. Sitting down across from me as she started going through a different pile.

After a few minutes of silence, I heard an dark laugh coming from Courtney. Slowly looking up to noticed she had found one of my fancier bras. Eyes widen as I made a grab for the black laced garment, which she quickly pulled out of my reach. Grinning and wiggling her eyes at me as she waved it in my face.

"This... Just this. He won't know what hit him." She teased in between laughing. Finally grabbing it from her and tossing it over her head onto my bed. Feeling my cheeks darken slightly as I shook my head.

"Yeah no. Not for first... Maybe after third? If it gets to that point." I giggled, flashing her a wink before turning back to the pile.

"It might help if we narrow down what you want to wear. Like a dress? Or some nice pants and a cute top? A skirt?" She asked as she held up a pair of black dress pants. Looking over at the pants as I tilted my head.

"Wait a minute... I have a top that'll go with that." Quickly climbing to my feet and facing the clothes that were still hanging in the closet.

Flipping through a few hangers before grabbing a silver lace bell sleeve  v-neck blouse. Turning to face Courtney and holding the shirt up. She nodded eagerly before standing and setting the pants she had found on the bed. Turning to face the shoe rack that sat next to my dresser, she rummaged through the heels on the bottom shelf. Grabbing a pair of black suede closed toe strap heels before setting them in front of my bed.

"There ya go. Now, remember to have fun, call me when its over, and shave!" She called, ducking when I chucked the pillow she had thrown at me earlier.

Waving my goodbyes to her as she walked out of my room. Standing up once I heard the front door shut. Glancing over at the clock, revealing it was about quarter after 3. Deciding to hop into the shower now to give my hair time to air dry.

Time moved a little quicker once I finished showering. Using the next couple hours to answer some emails from work, and reorganize my closet since most of the contents had ended up on my bedroom floor. Before I knew it, it was six o'clock. Damien had texted me earlier that he'd pick me up at seven. Normally it didn't take long for me to get ready, but I wanted to put in the extra effort. It's been a while since I actually went on a date with someone. My last relationship ended about a week or two before I moved out here. Honestly it should have ended way sooner but we had dragged it out.
