It definitely did turn out to be a long night.  I don't remember crawling into bed till after 2 in the morning. Courtney, Shayne and Damien ended up spending the night since I didn't want them out driving late. No matter how nearby they lived. It was also the first time that Damien and I had spent a night together. Even after we crawled into bed, it was still over an hour before either of us feel asleep. Just laying there talking about pretty much everything under the moon until we eventually drifted off.

There was a patch of light that managed to break through the crack in the curtain fell over my face. Grimacing as I turned my head , eyes opening slight, catching the time on the alarm clock next to my bed. Groaning slightly when I noticed it was about quarter after ten in the morning. Rolling back over, this time taking notice of the empty spot besides me. I was pretty sure that Damien had fallen asleep next to me. My lips slipped into a pout as I rolled onto my back before sitting up. The blankets were bunched around my legs, and there was an indention on the pillow next to me that indicated that he did in fact slepe there.

When I finally got the motivation to crawl out of bed after sitting still for a couple of minutes. Grabbing a light weight hoodie that hung on the back of the door and tugging it on over my tank top. The shorts I was wearing just barely peaked out from bottom of the shirt. Rubbing my eye with the back of my hand, walking out of my room and down the hallway. Glancing into the living room when I passed, noticing Courtney still passed out on the couch. Shayne was on the floor in front of it, looking like he just woke up and was scrolling through his phone. He glanced up when I peaked my head in, lifting his hand to wave before his attention went back to his phone. Flashing him a small wave before moving into the kitchen in search of coffee and my boyfriend.

Damien's back was turned to the doorway, his arms crossed over his chest as he stood in front of the coffee maker. Smiling when I noticed him and tip toed up to him. My arms sliding around his waist made him jump slightly. Resting my cheek against his back as I let my eyes close, a small smile playing over my lips. He turned his head to glance over his shoulder before his hand moved to rest over mine.

"Good morning sweetie." he said as his attention turned back to the coffee maker as if watching it would make it go faster.

"Morning" I croaked out in a tired tone. Pressing a kiss against the back of his shoulder before my arms dropped from his waist and I stepped away.

"I was hoping you'd stay asleep so I could surprise you." Damien state as he turned  to lean his hip against the counter top.

My cheeks flushed a pink color hearing his words. "You do that, I may not let you leave." I commented.

"Now that's not a bad idea." He said, a playful smile on his lips.

Flashing him a grin before reaching towards the coffee pot once it stopped brewing. Softly pushing his hand away when he reached towards it.

"Nope, sit. " I stated, nodding my head in the direction of the table.

Damien huffed his disapproval but still moved to sit down. Leaning back in his seat as he kept his eyes on me while I poured out two cups. Adding  a little bit of cream and sugar to my own, while keeping Damien's plain. Setting his mug down in front of him and mine in front of the empty seat next to him. Turning to take a step towards the stove when his hand grabbed hold of my wrist lightly. Half turning to glance down at his hand before back to his face, my eyebrows raised. Tugging gently on my wrist as he looked up at me. Moving to step between his legs, my arms wrapping loosely around his neck when he let go of my wrist to slide his arms around my waist.

"Well hello there." I spoke in a soft tone.

"Hi yourself." He muttered, "Kiss me?"

His lips pushed out slightly. Eyes rolled playfully before  I leaned down towards him, stopping an inch away from his lips.  A teasing smile appeared on my face when I noticed his eyes shut and lips push out more in anticipation of the kiss.
