Lana's POV

I don't know what it is. One day, Melody was overprotective and was caring too much about me. And the other day, she basically ignored me. I don't understand this behavior.

Melody was frustrated, I knew this was because she doesn't like being at home too much. She needed something to keep herself busy. She was literally going crazy at home. I had told her to go back to work, I'd take care of myself. But she didn't want to.

She refused to let me be alone because she doesn't want me to write anymore. She blames everything that has happened on my passion.

"I want to write, Mel."
"No!"
"Why not?"
She'd look at me, fuming with anger. "If you would have a normal job, you wouldn't have jumped out of that window, Lana!"

Every time she'd go back to me jumping out of that window. Every time, she'd blame it on my job, on my passion. And every time, she wouldn't listen to me.

So, as the days passed by, I sat there on the couch, doing nothing. I usually would go through channels while Melody was doing chores or prepare food for us.

But I got so bored. I just wanted to write, I could feel Shax growing stronger. I needed to write if I wanted to stay alive. "Mel?"

Melody dropped the dishes and walked to me. "Yes, Lana?"

I looked at her. Great, she's annoyed already... "I'm bored."

She didn't seem to be amused. "Find something to watch then." She turned back around, going towards the kitchen.

I sighed before I spotted Melody's computer. Melody had hidden my computer, somewhere, but hers had been in clear sight for days. Though, because Melody was always nearby, I never had the chance to write.

I needed to use her computer but then I needed to get rid of her, for a bit. "Hey, Mel?"

Melody sighed as she walked to me again. "What?"

I looked at her. "I'm kind of in the mood for a nice bath together."

Her face softened. "Yeah," She smiled a bit. "Maybe that'll do us both well."

I nodded.

"I'll go start making the bath."

"Wait."

She came back to me.

"I'd love to have some of these wellness balls."

Melody raised her eyebrows before smiling a bit. "Bath balls, you mean?"

"Yes," I smiled. "They feel nice."

"Ok," She walked away before showing again, holding her purse in her hand. "I'll get those quickly."

"You're the best."

She smiled before coming to me and kissing my lips. "I'll hurry."

"No, be safe."

She looked at me, she seemed a bit surprised I'd say that.

"I can wait, be safe." I then smiled.

She smiled too. "Ok."

I waited until I heard the door close. Then I got up and went to Melody's computer. I turned it on and easily got access to it since she didn't use the hardest passwords...

I opened a new document and started writing. I wrote everything down I had seen these past few nights, in my dreams. I was so busy, I was so into my writing that I didn't notice a figure next to me.
