one thing i hate about college is being forced to part ways with my friends.
it was such a blessing to find such beautiful people among my block during the first year. we started with sharing our first lunch, to our first failed exam, first offense that lead to osds, and a first cinco at the end of semester. each of us believe we'll be together until the end-until we reach our aspirations. i guess it was just a belief...it didn't come true.
we went on different tracks-some figured out a more appropriate course for them, others stopped and i, i remained where we all began. came the 2nd year, it was a rare occurence for us to cross each other's paths. it took us a year to finally set a date and catch up with each other's lives.
and it felt so short-a day felt like a minute with these beautiful people, my friends. they're with me but i still miss them. i don't want to reach the end of the day knowing it will be hard for us to meet again. but that's life, we meet precious friends but there will always be a catch.
