damn academics—still viewed as the highest form of intellect.

fuck numbers that define how we perform as a student.

to hell with all these stressing future careers that we have no choice but to go after, just to have a stable income?

shit on society for looking down on arts and creativity. said it's just a hobby, not a living. and if you want to be successful, choose something that isn't writing, painting, music, dancing and all other forms of art. people say we're wasting our time on these so-called "passion" of us.

and it's sad. how i set aside my fire for writing just to prioritize what would give me a stable income. it's unfortunate how i disagree with all their opinions but their thoughts translate into reality, because even today...people won't pay for an art just as how much as they'd pay for a surgery.

want vs need? but don't we all need art just to survive this cruel and exhausting society we live in? don't we all cling to art whenever our plates contain too much? don't we all relieve the pain rooted in our hearts through creativity?

art is a necessity, at least for me. and i rest my case, your honor.
