HIATUS

Chapter 2 - Change of Pace - Part 5

"So, where to?" Moo passed the question back to the boys.

"Lunch first? I don't really remember where's good here..." Jen lowered her window down very slightly, receiving a slight stare from Moo. It was such a beautiful day and with the slight crack in the window she could feel the sunlight beaming through. Realising how hot it was, she took off her denim jacket.

"I know a great place! It's quite remote but still close to the beach so we can head there afterwards." Mew answered from the back, offering his phone as a GPS. Gulf had his eyes locked on Jen. Her denim jacket hung over her lap revealing her arms. He couldn't help but notice some nude coloured patches and tape down her arm. He wondered what happened.

"They're stress patches." Gulf raised his head to find Jen looking at him in the front mirror. "I pulled a muscle in my shoulder a while ago and it hasn't really healed properly." Gulf struggled for words, she had noticed him staring at her.

"I remember! It took you out of promotions for months, I was afraid you were going to miss the concert in Thailand last year." Mew once again answered from the back, Gulf gave him a concerning look.

"It wasn't too bad an injury, I promise, and I wouldn't miss that concert for the world. I hope you enjoyed it." She offered a wide smile into the mirror, this time at Mew.

"It was the best concert I have ever been to... and I'm not just saying that because you're here," Mew giggled, so did Jen. "I said to Gulf earlier, too. Even with the setlist change, it was amazing!" Mew beamed, he almost looked like a shy boy confessing to his crush.

"Well, thank you! That really means a lot." Jen remembered back to the concert last year. Everyone was stressed about the venue stage not being big enough, the setlist change because Jen wasn't able to perform the majority of songs due to her injury and everyone was exhausted with it being the second to last show of the tour. It really wasn't a great experience for them all.
