The rest of the afternoon flew in quite quickly, despite the amount of scenes they had to get through. Mew had left early, after the promise from Jen that she'd get a hold of Paul. They had one more scene and she was worried that they wouldn't finish up in time.

"And we are finished for the day guys, see you back again tomorrow." The director called out and everyone on set gave a congratulatory clap. The makeup artists offered to take Jen's makeup off for her but she asked to keep it on in the hopes that she would get to the concert. She rushed from the set and into a separate room to get changed into her own clothes. Gulf had been loitering on set and waited for Jen to come out of the room she was getting changed in. He could hear a conversation through the door.

"I can't believe you answered or that you have the same phone number after all these years." Gulf could barely hear the one sided conversation never mind that it was in English. "I know, it's been so long.

Gulf knocked on the door to kill his curiosity and was faced by a bright faced Jen. She looked so natural in her own clothes and light toned makeup. She motioned for him to come in and he did.

"Well, I was actually going to ask you about that." She hinted on the phone. "I have a friend who's going to your concert, his sister would love to meet you and I haven't seen you in years. It would be good to catch up." Gulf's eyebrow lifted at her change in tone. She seemed to be pleading for something. He had never heard her speak like this; his cheeks grew warmer by the second. After a month, she still managed to affect him.

"You are the best, this will win me brownie points for sure!" She laughed down the phone. "Now, now, we are only friends..." she pushed her hair off her shoulder and picked at the pocket of her jeans. What was this new side of Jen Gulf was seeing? "I'll see you soon," she paused. "I can't wait to see you, too." She hung up the phone and slid it into her back pocket. She lifted her jacket and turned to Gulf.

"Are you feeling okay, Gulf?" Jen motioned to his face, which was now bright red after hearing her say his name.

"I'm fine!" He held his cheeks. "Just a bit warm, I guess."

"Let's go outside for a bit of fresh air." She motioned for them both to leave the room and they stalked towards the front of the building. Gulf plucked up the courage to ask about her phone call.

"So, who were you on the phone to?" He asked nonchalantly.

"That was Paul, the singer of the band Mew is going to see tonight. I got him balcony access and Paul even said he would meet his sister! How nice is he?" Gulf felt an unfamiliar feeling creep into his stomach.

"That was really nice of him." He turned his head away from her.

"I don't suppose you'd want to come along with us?" She didn't see any problem with bringing another friend, she knew Paul would be okay with it. Jen felt nervous asking, she didn't know if it was Gulf's scene. With the feeling growing deeper in Gulf stomach, he answered instantly.

"I'd love to." His answer stunned Jen.

"Really, you'll come? I just didn't think the music was your vibe." He stuttered for the words that would cover up why he was really going.

"Well, I- I can always branch out can't I?" She chuckled.

"Of course you can!" Jen took her glowing phone out to find a text from Paul.

"We've to meet a guy outside the venue, he'll take care of us." Gulf clutched his stomach at the growing feeling, what was it? "Mew is going to freak!"
