The concert finished and as promised they made their way back stage to meet Paul and the band. Jen was feeling more at ease. It was as if singing was her drug and being on stage was her home. She needed them to survive. And Paul gave her that chance to be at home again. He always seemed to be good at that.
Jom sat on the couch in the green room, eager to greet the group as they came in. Mew couldn't help but feel embarrassed at how she was reacting. Jen couldn't help but feel nervous too, it had been so long. Plus she was still on the high of being on stage.
Gulf sat close by, eyeing the room and every so often resting his eyes on Jen. Voices swarmed up the hallway outside, a mix of laughter and post concert blues. Jom shot up.
"I don't know why you're here but I'm happy you are!" Paul bounced into the room and straight for Jen, as if he knew where she would be standing. He lifted Jen up into an embrace and spun her around earning a slight yelp.
