Prologue

"Where is Baechun? Everyone is here already."
Lyn asked Namji who just finished a phone call.
"She's coming. Oh Chen Oppa.. It's good that you were able to come. Despite your busy schedule.."
She looked at Chen who just arrived.
"Of course.. I won't miss this chance of seeing everyone.. especially that D.O will be going to the military soon."

Chen looked at D.O who was beside him with Lyn on his right.
Baekhyun poked him.
"How about me? Did you not miss me?"
"Yes I do Baek.. though we see each other every single day."
And everybody laughed.

Then the door in the cafe opened.
A woman in a 3/4 sleeve tshirt and truffle skirt with boots on came in.

"Oh Baechunieee... You're here. Come.."
Baechun found their table and came over.

She sat between Namji and Chen.
"Wow.. you look beautiful Baechun-ah." Baekhyun complimented her.
"Aigoo uri Baechunie.. She learned how to become a lady from me. Isn't she pretty Chen Oppa?"
Baechun smiled and took a glance to Chen.
"Ah yes of course, our little girl has grown up."
He looked at Baechun for a split second and faced away.
And there was silence.
"How have you been Baechun? I heard you started training nowadays. "
D.O changed the mood.
"Yes Oppa.. After my three year contract as a consultant in JGS Studio.. I left and joined a company."
"That is nice.. You could have joined my company so we can be together all the time." Namji commented.
"If she was there, she'll debut earlier than you." Baekhyun teased Namji. Namji just hit him. But Baekhyun gave her a tight hug.
They laughed at the love and hate romance of the two.
"That can't be Baekhyun oppa. Namji unnie has more experience and much... prettier than me."
After Baechun's reply,they became quiet.
"You are pretty too Baechun. You see.. Nam Taehyun even invited you to join his company because of your ability."
Lyn cheered her up.
"Lyn's right. Even though you dressed up like that.. you are still our precious little Baechun."
Chen inserted.

And the chitchatting continued until afternoon.
The boys went back to their dorm.
Lyn has to leave too for her schedule that night.
Namji and Baechun left walking along streets.

" Since.. there's just the two of us, why don't we visit some stores? Tomorrow we'll be busy with our respective trainings so let's make the most of today. Come on!"
Namji held Baechun's hand and went inside a shop.

They checked on new cosmetics and skin care.. testing some and bought a few.

Then, they entered a boutique. They tried on clothes.

Baechun wore a white a blouse and a mini shorts paired with cute sandals.
" Oh my.. it looks good on you Baechuni.. I didn't know you have such shape." Namji was filled with awe.

"Isn't it too short Unnie?" Baechun complained trying to pull down her shorts.
"Yeah.. but it's fine. When you become an idol.. they will let you wear anything.. even more revealing than this. And since you entered it, so as early as now.. you have to get used to it okay?" Namji pinched Baechun's cheek and check on other clothes.
"But he won't like this."
Baechun whispered to herself still standing near the dressing room.
Namji heard it and came near her.
"He won't mind that. If you like someone, you would accept who she is.. even you have a braid 😊"
Namji tried to make her smile but nothing.

"It can't be unnie. He can't look at me like the way he did to you. I want him to look at me. "
Baechun started sobbing and Namji can't do anything but hug her.

'He will look at you. I promise you that Baechunie'
