Chapter 17

"Yes Uncle.. The casting team went home early.. I have something to buy first. Yes Yes.. don't worry I won't get lost. I know my way."
I just hung from my Uncle's call.

He was this weary everytime he remembers the time when I almost got robbed. That was traumatic but I am still thankful that Changgu-ssi saved me that day.

I never knew that Changgu-ssi is Baechun's elder brother. No doubt both of them are kind and helpful.

Speaking of Baechun, I saw her running from a cosmetic shop across the road.

I want to call her but two persons followed her.. it was Namji and someone I didn't recognize.

There's something going on here.

Namji noona called her when a truck honking came approaching.

I thought as fast as I could and run to the road.

Before the truck could hit her, I filled up my strength and pulled her to the other side of the road.

The truck stopped and the driver went down.

"Are you alright Miss?" The driver asked Baechun's who's lying on top of me. She's closed her eyes.

"She's alright sir. Nothing happened. You can drive back there." As I said those words, the driver left and Namji and another lady approached us.

Baechun suddenly opened her eyes. She stood up as best as she can when she noticed that she was on top of me.

" Baechun-a are you okay?" The other girl fixed Baechun's hair and dress. She must be a friend of hers.
"You scared me to death Baechun-a.. I thought you're gonna be hit by that truck.. Good gracious Namtae saved you. What really happened? ." Namji pointed at me with a surprising look.

Baechun turned her face at me and wondered. She must have thought why I was there and was able to save her.

" Nothing unnie. I just forgot to do something. (to Risa) Risa you can just hang out with Namji unnie if you still want to or you can go home.. it's up to you. I'm sorry."
Baechun looked in despair talking to them.
"You sure Baechun-a?" Namji asked her once more and she just nodded to confirm.

"I think it can't be helped. Make sure to call me when you get home okay? Come on Risa.. I think we forgot to check out the things we chose earlier.." They slowly walked back across the road and back to the shop.

There was only me and Baechun left.

It was such a shame to be in this embarassing scene. I really didn't want to react that way but I can't stop myself from feeling down.

It could be the end of me, but it was like in a movie that someone saved me from death.

All I think was that Chen oppa appeared and romantically held me but it's totally impossible.
