Chapter 18

▪️Baechun▪️

"Chunah.. Stop it! Let me sleep for God's sake." Mom sidekicked me on my bedsheet closely next to hers.

It's almost midnight and I am still tossing and turning on these sheets.
I can't help thinking about what happened earlier.

Not the tv news..
Not the near-death accident..
Nor the confession.

But the kiss..

I want to cry.. I want to roll my body down to the stairs and kill myself.

It was my first kiss.. of all the people it was Taehyun oppa.

He said 'It was just an acting..a response to your confession.'

No.. . Chen oppa would definitely not do that.

But he was certainly right. I shouldn't assume unless he says so.

'Forget that kiss Kim Baechun.. It was nothing. Taehyun oppa is just a friend. You should only think of Chen oppa.'
I whispered to myself.

'Awww.' I exclaimed. Mom hit me again. I can't take this anymore.

I left the room and went out from our small apartment with my phone.

I dialled a number and it rang.

"Sehun-a.. Sorry to disturb you but do you have a moment?"

We were having another late night recording when my phone beeped.

It was breaktime so I answered it.

It was Baechun.

"Oh no it's okay.. We're recording right now but we took a break for a short time. What is it?"
Others were busy chitchatting with one another. I went out to the recording area and into the lobby.

"I heard about Chen oppa and Jina unnie's music video tomorrow. Do you have any idea where it could be?" So she already knew.. but why did he call Miss Jina unnie? Do they know each other..? Do the three of them friends before? I have a lot of things to ask to Chen hyung.

"Why do you want to know Baechun-a?.. oh no! Don't tell me you're gonna destroy it? You reached too far Baechun."
"No.. It's not what you're thinking. I just have to tell Chen oppa something that can't wait until the next days."
"Oh God! I think I know what you mean. But I can't help you right now..I don't have the slightest idea where it could possibly be."
I heard a heavy sigh on the next line.
"Wait.. I'll find it out later. Don't worry you will know it before the sun rises tomorrow."

And I hung up. Chen hyung is busy with his rehearsal and I can't disturb him now.. Later.. I'll spend the whole night listening to his story.
