Happy birthday to my other sis! Who will definitely not read this! Smirk face!
***TRIGGER WARNING*** for suicide ideation
Harry stared at the dark ceiling, irritated. It was a week since Ron first tried to apologize to him and the asshole tried two more times since then. The last one ended when Harry lost his temper and punched him. He felt a little bad about it, since Ron didn't even fight back. He just tried to apologize to him... again. Harry left. He couldn't even explain why he wouldn't forgive him, even though Hermione had been on cloud nine, since Ron had talked to her. But he couldn't let it go. His rage was completely controlling his actions, now.
He was off his Mood-Stabilizers, again. He didn't know why he decided to stop, but the feeling of raw uncontrolled emotion running through his veins was appealing and nothing, not Madam Pomfrey's lectures nor Draco's pleas, could move him from it. He wanted to feel this hatred. Ron had pushed him too many times, and the potions might take that away, make him forgive him. No... FUCK NO... he wouldn't do that. There was no forgiving him this time.
Ron wasn't the only thing bugging him, either. Draco's mum... Narcissa... had left Aunt Andy's. She didn't even say anything during his last visit, either! She had said, goodbye, given him a strong hug. But didn't even give him a chance to convince her to stay. She sent a letter a few days ago. Saying that she had to go find work, for some unspecified reason. She repeated a few times that she was safe, but wouldn't be able to receive or send owls. She said that she would try to make it to Christmas, but she wasn't sure she could. She promised she would be back by graduation.
None of her assurances made him feel any better. Why would she leave? What did she need money for? He vented for hours, pacing alone in the bathroom, where he couldn't disturb anyone else with his inability to calm down. Draco knew, too. Knew that she was leaving. He wasn't surprised by the letter. He said that his mother told him not to tell until she was away. Why was that necessary? Just so she could escape without an argument? He couldn't blame Draco. Defying his mother, wasn't lucky to happen. He just had to accept it... just like everything else that was happening in his life.
He was sleeping less, again. Waking irate and uneasy in the middle of the night and would be too tense to go back to sleep. Draco was on edge around him and he hadn't been able to calm down enough to talk him, at least about his emotions. He wasn't mad at Draco. How could he be? But Ron... Ron who had every fucking chance to be his friend and had failed miserably. He was pissed at him. Harry had enough of him and was completely within his right to be pissed the F off!
"Harry?" Draco said, cautiously, next to him.
"Are you okay?" Harry asked, his anger cutting off immediately. Draco was his priority, he could never forget that.
"You're making the furniture shake."
Harry looked around and saw Daphne and Theo were now up. Blaise was looking over, but Neville was still ignorantly asleep. They hadn't been sleeping as much and as they came in after midnight every night this past week.
"Oh... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."
Draco laid his head on his bare chest, and said, "You've been... temperamental all week."
"Just restless."
Draco didn't buy that. "Maybe, you should talk to him."
"No, there's nothing I want to say to him," Harry grunted.
"Are you mad 'cause I partnered with him in Potions?" Draco asked.
"You can do whatever you want," he said, neutrally. He was sure his answer shouldn't be yes.
