It was a normal night, I was cleaning the house up and doing the dishes. I had a lot of stuff to do still. Everything was especially dirty that night. I had used up a lot of towels and that added more things for me to do; now wash the towels.
Ding, dong! The loud, annoying door bell rang as Jackie and Sammy ran to the door.
"I got it!!!" "No, I got it!" "I got there first!" "No that's not fair!" "You're so mean!" Jackie and Sammy fought. They didn't notice their mom walking up behind them and unlocking the door.
"Hey!" "I wanted to do it!" That's not fair!" "We got their first!" "You're so mean!"
I got so annoyed by their stupid fighting. Every single thing they say; they always disagree. My step mom pulled open the door. Sammy, Jackie, and their mom all gasped. A royal servant was at their door, with a perfectly sealed letter in his hand. My whole family just stared at him, not knowing what to do.
"Here you go, madam," the servant said as he handed them the silver and white letter.
"Th-th-thank you," Sammy whisper as she stared at the note. I went back to cleaning, thinking that it is probably just a message from the king and queen. But what message? I was bothered thinking about it as everyone else was talking about it.
"Omg! A what?!?!" I heard one of them say. "A Super Bowl?" Oh I wish I could go... I worked a little faster, wanting to find out exactly what the letter said. Why did she have to be a servant? She actually wanted to do fun stuff. Like football games. At the field. With my new friends.
Yeah, like that's gonna happen.
