Headcanons #9 Glass 2

(Glass again, because I love him)

I headcanon that Glass is a trans guy. I think he started to transition (medically) at 17 or 18, he began to physically transition (wear men's clothes, bind, cut his hair short, etc.) at around 16.

He seems like the type to be mostly okay with his body, he still has dysphoria but he can live if he never gets bottom surgery. Jack loving him either way also helps.

I can totally see him mentioning it casually like, "Oh yeah that's my old binder/ my period bag/ whatever, I guess I forgot to put it up, my fault."-"Why do I have [thing]? I'm trans, silly. I thought it was obvious?"

I can also see him having a ton of subtle and not so subtle pride things, flags, color coordinated clothes, mugs, you name it- he's got it.

I also have this really cute headcanon that when he started T (Testosterone), his hair lightened from dark brown to a lighter shade like it had done when he went through puberty (It started black when he was a baby then lightened to dark brown).

I haven't decided if I should make his parents supportive or not because he's going to be distant from them either way due to the foundation, though, I do lean a little towards the former. I can imagine his siblings and old friends being surprised and/ or hesitant when he first came out (Back in the 80s) but by now I think many of them would be supportive.

I'm pretty sure I got this headcanon from reading a really good lightbulb fanfic on Ao3, now I can't see him as cis.

Really, I'm so stuck on him being trans I actually don't think I could stomach writing him as cis, it's weird.

Also, Glass beats the shit out of transphobes every day for sport, it's canon.
