Important message about current events

Posting this because I've seen a lot of misinformation and fear going around, also education is good.

Okay, so, as many of you know, not only has pride month started, but protests against police brutality are going strong all over the country. I want all of my followers to be informed about these topics.

One point I see coming up a lot in discussions about the current protests and riots going on is general fear of home attacks and blaming protesters for the violence.

To that, I want to say: Bullshit

The protesters part of the Black lives matter movement, who are protesting police brutality, and/or who are protesting the police for killing George Floyd ARE NOT instigating the violence. The instigators are police and white supremacist/alt-right groups who are trying to hurt both protesters and the image of the movement. These protests started as peaceful but police brutality has encouraged, enacted, and forced protester's hands.

This doesn't mean that none of the protesters are rioting, quite a few of them are,(Which is still a valid tactic for protesting, after all, MLK and Stonewall did it and look how far that got them) but it does say a lot about how the police, and by extension the government, really don't care about free speech and , in fact, just want to shut the minorities of this world up.

Furthermore, rioters and looters (At least the ones supporting BLM) AREN'T ATTACKING HOMES and they're staying in cities.
