Today was just a normal day for you. You got up, brushed your teeth, ate breakfast, worked out, then went to the store before lunch. You walked to the cereal section and you looked up to see that your favorite cereal was on the top shelf.

"Curse me short legs" you muttered under your breath as you tried to reach for it.

"Do you need help?" A man chuckled from next to you.

"Yeah actually" You said sheepishly as you looked up at him. He had red hair and was towering over you. He was actually pretty cute. You quickly averted your eyes and looked down at the ground. 

"Which one?" 

"That one" You said pointing to the box

"Here you go" He said handing the box to you and smiling.

"Thanks" You said looking up at him. You had to shortly admire his features. He was really good looking.

"Like what you see?" He asked laughing

"Oh shoot, sorry. I didn't mean to stare" You said blushing a little.

"Nah it's fine. I know I'm hot. I'm Mingi" He said extending a hand and chuckling. 

"Y/N" You said while taking it.

"Nice to meet you. It's not everyday I meet such a beautiful girl in a grocery store" He said making you blush.

"And it's not everyday I get to meet a nice handsome guy" 

"I know we just met but I kinda wanna get to know you better. Do you wanna get some lunch?" 

"Uh, yeah sure" You responded following him out of the store after you paid.

"So you're a teacher?" Mingi asked you as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Yeah, I've been teaching for about a year. What about you? What do you do?"

"Oh I'm a race car driver."

"Damn really?"

"Yeah"

"How long have you been racing?"

"Uhm for about 4 years. I've been really into it as a kid and I just grew up wanting to do it." 

"Wow, you have such an interesting life compared to me" You say laughing.

"No wayyyy. Being a teacher can be fun too!" 

"Yeah only when I don't have a lot of papers to grade."

"What grade do you teach?" 

"Juniors in highschool"

"Wow really?"

"Yup"

"Damn."

"So uhm, thank you for lunch"

"Yeah no problem. I'm glad we could hang out"

"Yeah, it was nice meeting you"

"Hey some of my friends are coming over to my house tonight. We're having a small party if you want to come" 

"Sure! What time?" 

"5"

"Sounds good!"

"Here, I'll give you my address. You can dress comfortably. It's nothing fancy"

"So you mean to tell me that you just met him today?" a man whose name was Seonghwa asked you

"Yeah."

"Wow, he must've made some impression" 

"I mean he was pretty cool and nice" You replied causing Mingi to blush slightly and his friends to start laughing like crazy

"Hey you want anything else to drink?" Mingi asked you as he got up from the couch.

"Maybe just some water"

"Okay, I'll be back with that" He said leaving

"Hey you should go to his next race. I promise you that you'll fall in love with him when you see his skills" Another guy named Wooyoung said drinking some of his beer.

"Really? And what makes you think that I will?" You said jokingly with a smirk

"Oh you will. Trust me." Wooyoung said to you. "YAH MINGI. YOU BETTER MARRY THIS GIRL. YOU NEED SOMEONE LIKE HER IN YOUR LIFE"

"Yo chill we just met man" Mingi said coming back into the living room. "Sorry about him. He's crazy" 

"Nah you're good. And I'll come to your race"

"YES MINGI! COME ON!" you screamed from the sidelines as you watched him speed along the track.

"I TOLD YOU HE WAS A GREAT RACER" Wooyoung yelled over the loud sound of the cars.

"WELL YOU WERE RIGHT"

As soon as you said that, the race was over and Mingi came back to the side. He won and you ran over ot him.

"Oh my god you did amazing." You said as you hugged him. By this time, it has been about 3 months since you met him and you have grown very close to him. 

"Thanks."

"Yeah of course"

"So I was thinking, I know we've known each other for only 3 months, but I feel like I've known you my whole life. I was saving this until I won with you here. If you haven't noticed by now, I like you Y/N. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes! Of course I will!" You said excitedly as he kissed you deeply on the lips.
