You will see BB participating in the '#Me Too' movement- not ashamed or a victim but rather a survivor of sexual harassment, just as almost the entire female population on this planet. She can be seen wearing the pussy hat, holding a banner, in the march for equal rights. She still can't believe that the fight continues after so many years as she looks at little girls, young women, middle-aged women, grandmas and some good men marching along.
We know that men have had it good for a long time but didn't your parents ever teach you that it's good to share? There is plenty for everyone; just 'scooch' a little and make place for women in politics, the judiciary, business, technology, space, finance, the government - basically everywhere. The representation of women, if any, in certain areas is minuscule, and the scales need to be evened out because we have a lot to offer; with numerous brilliant ideas, we just haven't had a platform to share it.
The problem is that it's been a man's world since the beginning. We woke up late to this realization, and when we did, we saw that there were limited spots for us to claim, so we began to claw at each other, pull each other down, and play games- not the fun kind, I might add. We would deploy any means necessary to ensure that our spot doesn't get taken. The same insecurity came into play with the men in our lives. We see other women as competition and compete in every aspect, be it beauty, brains, jobs and relationships; we sometimes struggle to pay each other compliments or lend a helping hand. Since there were only 'a few good men', we fought over them and have been fighting ever since.
However, BB knows that being comfortable in your own skin enables you to be genuine in your compliments; you can afford to show your vulnerable side and share the secret of your glowing skin. You can put in a good word for your friend in the office and genuinely accept that we are all adults here, and it's high time we started acting like that.
Now, don't swear at me and call me a person who is frustrated and hates men because I love men, just well-raised and well-behaved men who happen to be well-groomed, great cooks, have high EQ levels, are hygienic, respectful, good listeners, open-minded, well-read, educated, spiritual, sophisticated, considerate, confident, cool, humble, generous, kind, adventurous, honest, witty, loyal, ambitious, independent, financially stable, extremely intelligent, tall, muscular, fit, handsome with a wicked sense of humor and who smell great...but I digress and dream.
