'You do you', that's right. After all, our essence makes us different from each other and sets us apart from the herd. When we are true to ourselves and no longer ashamed or ostracized, judged or made to fade away, that is when we are our authentic selves.
We are all made of flesh, bones and blood, so we have that in common; let's lead with that and say that we are human and believe that everyone has the right to express themselves freely without harming others. You are free to disagree with each other's opinions. It takes a lifetime for people to get to know themselves and to fully accept who they are, even though it is so easy for them to sit in judgement over others.
We all have scars; most of them run deep and are not visible to the naked eye. We all have our demons; we wrestle with our shadow side and are put through the wringer at some stage. As for me, I am comfortable with my demons, and we get along just fine, thank you for asking.
