- don't take this the wrong way, but are you here alone?
He got taken aback by her question.
- yes I am, why do you ask?
- I guy like you alone at a bar, I'm just wondering about that, you are too handsome and famous to walk around alone, aren't you scared of the sasaengs?
- all that died down when I went to the military, thank goodness.
She couldn't help but giggle at his words.
- I don't know but I could dare to say I'm pretty sure than you and the other members went through hell and a half through all those years with some of those crazy girls.
- we had our moments that's is all that is need to be said.

He noticed that her beer was long gone so he motioned to the bartender who was his best friend Jackson aka the co-owner of the bar.
- same drink Haneul?
She looked at him and then at the glass.
- you don't have to I could get my own drink.
Her smile kept sending shock waves through his body.
- I know Haneul, I'm pretty sure that you are a very independent woman, also pretty sure he that you can get your own drink but I'm trying to be a gentleman to a beautiful lady, can't I?, chivalry is not dead you know, at least not in my book.
- I apologize if I came out rude but usually a guy that offers to buy you a drink has different plans in mind.
- what kind of plans, if may I know?
- try to get in a girl's pants.
- I don't know what kind of men you have been dealing with but you have the wrong one, you see I have a little girl so I would never dare to do those sort of things thinking a man could do that to her when she dates, I would rip the guy's head off.
He stood up walking to the bar.

He called at Jackson.
- what do you want Namjoon?
Jackson turned without stopping what he was doing.
- give me another beer for the lady please.
- ok, just one second.
Once Jackson finish tending the other costumer so he turn to take care of Namjoon.
- bruh is everything alright, you look kinda upset?
He asked handing him the beer.
- nothing, I liked her at first but what she said just turned me off but before I leave I'm giving her this, after that I will get out of here.
- what did she say that bad Joon?
- she said that when males offer to pay for girls' drinks is because they have the idea of getting into their pants.
- aish, this girl has a big mouth.
- do you know her by any chance, is she single?
- yes i know her, she is my best friend, yes she is single, she honestly don't know how to date, she has been in very bad relationship so because of that she is always on a defensive mode.
- well since she is your best friend tell her that, with that attitude she will push away any man that comes close to her, good or bad. She needs to let go of the anger that she has against whomever hurt her because is no other men fault. Here you give it to her, here open a tab if she wants anything else is on me.
He said giving him 100,000 won.

Namjoon said heading to the door, she saw him walk out without even saying goodbye.
Jackson excused himself to his partner Jaebum to go bring her the beer.
- hey Haneul...
- Jax, what are you doing here?
- This is my bar you know that.
- I know silly, I'm just asking why are you here?
- here this is from the guy that just left Namjoon.
- why did he leave all of the sudden?
- he left because you have a big mouth, don't you think before you say anything?, since you don't obviously you ran him away with the comment about the drinks.
- he told you that?!
- yes he did, why wouldn't he?, he is my best friend.
- he is?
- yes, little girl you messed up really bad, he told me that he liked you but also told me that you will push away many men with your comments, your attitude, is not his fault what Lee Hoseok did to you, so stop taking out on every male that try to gets closer to you.
- he also told me that he has a little girl, so he is married with a kid, then he is hitting on me at a bar.
- he is not married the mother of his little girl died at child birth.
- *gasp*
She brought her hand to her mouth.
- see you are too quick to judge now you have messed up badly, we will talk some more at home now I have to get back to Jaebum before he kills me, Namjoon also said that if you wanted anything else to drink it was on him he gave me 100,000 so you could drink anything you want, I don't know what to do with you little girl.
Jackson said turning around to go back to the bar.
- aish!
Haneul said drinking her beer.
- why can't I keep my mouth shut? I lost the chance to get to know Kim Namjoon, he still paid for my drinks even though I said what I said.

She put the head down on the table.
Jackson stared at his friend, he felt sad because he knows that she is a great person whom deserves to be happy but all the pain and suffering that his friend Wohno (Lee Hoseok) had put her through in the 3 years they dated scarred her deeply.
He is not a bad person, he is a great guy but he is not great in relationships, he isn't the kind of man that settles with one woman, his mentality is that males should be able to have more than one woman at once.
Haneul forgave him once when he cheated on her but not a second one, she broke with him, that experience hardened her heart, she told him that it wouldn't be another man that could break her heart like that, after that she had tried dating but ended pushing whoever away before giving them the chance to date.
Jackson knew all that Namjoon has been through, when he found y/n trying to kill herself at Han river, the sexual abuse from the father for 3 years, he took care of her until they day she died, he loved her unconditionally, he vowed that he would show her what a real man could do, how a real man threats a woman, the woman he loved, then the rollercoaster with her pregnancy.
Him not being able to get close to the newborn baby, because he blamed her for the mother's death, until Jungkook snapped at him one night they were drinking, Jungkook drank a little too much, he have had enough of Namjoon's treatment towards the baby girl, so Jungkook let him have it, telling him a the end that he didn't want to see him ever again as long as he treated his daughter like that, he very well knew all of this tragic story.
He knew that Jungkook made Namjoon snap out of it finally, now it was Jackson's turn to help his friend to snap out of that vicious circle she have gotten herself into.
He said feeling useless to help his friend, but he was going to make it happen somehow, she will be happy one way or the other.
