Chapter 11

Chats pov:
We're both laughing at the joke of marinette being a super strong person as she places her hand on my face, I'm surprised but it's so warm to the touch that I can't help but let a little purr escape as I lean my face into her delicate hand. So soft, I think she is finally accepting me for chat.
As I go to say something she takes me completely by surprise by kissing me. Holy shit this is moving fast. Marinette is kissing me, as chat noir, and before I know it I'm kissing her back as my arms reach around her waist pulling her closer to me, she gasps as I grab her but doesn't resist for once. Then as soon as it started she pulls away, her eyes bright blue full and wide, "I, I'm so sorry," she leans up and runs into the bathroom locking herself in there before I can even collect what's just happened.
As I collect myself I find I'm stroking my lips with my finger, she kissed me, I feel I'm the happiest person in the world.
I get up and walk to the bathroom knocking on the locked door, "marinette.." no answer, I think about using my master key to unlock the door but decide against it. "I'm going to bed now, but if you want I can stay in the guest room tonight. If that makes you more comfortable. "No, no it's okay, it's your bed stay." She sounds muffled behind the door to the bathroom.  So I decide I will stay and I climb into bed laying my hands behind my head, replaying what just happened over and over again in the darkness, gently rubbing where her lips connected to mine.

Marinettes pov:
I run into the bathroom and lock the door behind me, I'm so stupid! What am I doing? I feel like crying but I can't help but think, he really likes me like that. do I like him aswell? Or was it just the heat of the moment. I hear chat knocking on the door and I stay silent, I want to go back out there but not while he's awake.
"I'm going to bed now," his voice.. where do I know you from chat noir?
"But if you want I can stay in the guest room tonight. If that makes you more comfortable."and it scares me, I'm in a new place and it's going to be pitch black when I go back out there. I don't want to be left alone.
"No, no it's okay, it's your bed stay." I'll say anything so he doesn't leave me alone in this new place. I hear him walk away from the door and I think he's leaving when I hear him drop onto the bed, I let out the breathe I didn't realise I was holding in.
After 10 minutes contemplating what I should do I decide to do nothing, I will act like nothing happened and go to sleep. As I exit the bathroom the lights from where I am illuminate the room just enough for me to see chat looks up from where he is laying on the bed. I switch the light off not prepared for the overwhelming darkness of the room as I stumble around feeling for the bed. "Ahh" I tripped over a cord, but before I know it a strong arm caught me and pulled to his chest. "You gotta be more careful mari," my heart rate exhilarates as I feel his muscular figure beneath my hands on his chest. "I can't find the bed," I giggle awkwardly, and he starts walking carefully guiding me til I feel the bed next to me. "It's late my princess, you should go to sleep." He kisses my hand and let's go as he gets in the other side. I lay down but all I can hear is floorboards creaking outside the door and I get scared. I pull the blanket over my head and turn around, "you okay?" Chat asks, pulling the cover over his head as well. "Yes, it's just," I don't like admitting when I'm scared so I stay silent. He gets the message as he replies "no problem mari, it's probably just Kim eavesdropping at the door." And he starts to laugh. I love that sound. I hear a loud "bang" on the door  and I scream and move into chats arms, he wraps them around me gently and just rubs my back. "Kim go to sleep, your scaring marinette," He says not laughing but almost. I hear a male laughing outside the door as he walks away closing his door rather loudly.
As I'm falling asleep I can't help but nuzzle his chest, so firm and strong but so gentle and caring. Who is this strange toxic alley cat, and why do I think I want him.
I fall asleep to him stroking my hair.

Chats pov:
In the morning I wake up to find marinette gone. And I shoot up thinking she's somehow escaped, until I realise I can hear the shower going in the bathroom.
I leave the room as I release my transformation, "marinette I'm going out for a few hours," fuck I'm late for school "there's things I need to do, Kim will bring you up some food."
I hear her reply but I don't understand what she's saying muffled behind two walls.
As I pass Kim in the kitchen he turns and looks at me, "morning Kim, I have to get to school." He chuckles "why don't you just drop out? Your old enough and you'll have more free time for the gang and whatever is happening between you and that girl." He's got a point but I just sigh and walk to the front door where the driver has been sitting for 20 minutes, I'm not that late but I will be by the time I actually get there.

as Adrien arrives at school he notices police around and how they are wandering the borders. "What the hell?" Adrien thinks as he exits the car and goes to get signed in. As he enters the classroom everyone looks startled and it takes a second for Adrien to realise it's because a police man in behind him. "Adrien, how nice of you to finally join us." The teacher says kindly "go and take a seat." And He does. Adrien walks to nino and whispers to him "what's going on?" "dude I'll talk after but we don't mention anything with them around," he whispers looking at the man in blue. The teacher greets him and he goes to the back of the classroom.

Ninos pov:
At the end of class I grab Adrien by the wrist and lead him to the bathroom. "What's going on nino?" He asks confused.
"Because of marinette being kidnapped the entire school has been put under watch, ladybug suspects a student here is the person behind chat noir and ultimately marinettes kidnapping." I yell in a whisper. "Holy shit," is all He can say. what should we do? "This has never happened before even when a younger classmate last year was abducted!" I can tell Adrien is starting to freak out, it's the first time I think I've ever seen him actually start to come undone. But as he realises how he's reacting he takes a breath and goes back to normal Adrien. "Here's What were gonna do, we continue going to school. Yes we're sad for marinette but we have absolutely no idea what has happened. We act normal" I nod in response and am comforted by how sure he is of his plan. "Right!" I say in reply, he nods to me and we both walk off to next period.

Marinettes pov:
I hear chat noir say he's leaving for a couple hours and I reply with "please don't be too long!" I hope he could hear me. As I finish up in the shower I throw on the new clothes chat had laid for me. A set of matching lingerie black and green, a plain light grey jumper and some comfortable black shorts. "Wow the material is soft"  I think to myself as I slide them onto my petite bottom half. I look at myself in the mirror and almost scare myself as I look at my hair. It's wet and extremely knotted, I can't find a brush but I do find a comb with pieces of golden hair in it. so I start trying to dissect the mess on my head.
About an entire hour later it's finally calm and hanging just below my shoulders, I look for my hair ties and tie my hair into two ponytails at the back of my head. "There" I say proud of the work I did, and I hear a knock at the door "hey marinette, I've been told to give you food so here it is." I exit the bathroom to see Kim placing a tray of what looks like an omelette on chats bedside table. "Thanks" I startle him. "You look.... different" he says unimpressed, "I don't know why chat chose you but he really isn't treating you like how he usually treats our victims." Is that all I am to them? A victim? "I don't know why either" I say looking down at the floor, "how long?" He looks at me confused. "Sorry, how long do you usually hold people?" He gets the message now, "as long as we want, some people don't pay up and they eventually rot away in a room, others are realeased right after the payment around the 1 week mark." He says and leaves. I take the food and sit next to the window.
The view is beautiful from here. I wonder where we are? looking through the woods into the mountains beyond.
And then a thought struck me, did Kim lock the door? I place the empty plate down and slowly walk over to the door. I put my ear up and listen.... nothing. I turn the knob and it turns fully, holy shit! He forgot to lock the door. I open it and peek my head out I don't hear him but I hear the front door open and close. Fuck! I close the door immediately and go to the bed.
Did someone just leave or enter the house? I wait for at least 2 hours and I finally gather the courage to open the door again, no ones here. I walk out of the room slowly, the house is huge and I'm up stairs next to a stairwell leading to the what looks like a lounge room? I hesitantly walk down the stairs, and an idea strucks me. I'm guessing chat will return home first so I gather a plan, if I can show him that I can be trusted to be out of the room maybe he will give me more freedom! "Or you could escape right now." A unpleasant voice in the back of my head says, I reason with myself that he has alarms on the front door so I wouldn't get away anyway. I sit on the couch and eventually fall asleep waiting for chat to return here.
