The Royal Programme

Chapter 3

Hiya lovelies pictured above is Nikolai's friend Angel- 19 yrs old (Dove Cameron) who will also be joining the royal siblings and Alexander for Nina's royal programme.

The day had arrived! The day in which I leave my home with my siblings and friends, and return with a suitor. A future husband for me, and hearing the finality of that worsened my nerves. But I brushed them off as I tried to appear confident in front of my parents.

It was a sunny day. The scorching heat marked the first day of summer for Spain, as I sluggishly walked down the stairs behind the doorman, who was gathering my luggage and putting it in the car that would drive us to the airport. My parents accompanied us to the airport to mark the official start of 'The Royal Programme'.

All throughout the car ride my mother was lecturing us, me and my siblings, on how to behave and not act out on rash decisions. Angel and Alexander would be arriving in a separate car, therefore they didn't get to hear the awful lecture, lucky them.

She explained that whilst there would be staff helping out to clean, maintain the palace and tend to our needs, they would not get to manhandle us in any way. So we were the adults for ourselves, and since Natalia was the oldest she would technically be in charge.

However, father insisted that we wouldn't have to listen to everything Natalia says because, after all, this 'sort of holiday' was in fact for me. So I would be allowed to overrule anything Natalia says, which made me quite relieved as frankly, Natalia was too bossy and irritating at times.

The car screeched to a halt as we stood outside the packed airport. There were camera flashes everywhere as we navigated to the gates of the private jet. Even though we had tinted windows, it was easy to tell we were royals due to our unique number plate.

Only once the paparazzi was cleared did we all climb out the car. The driver unloaded our luggage and took it into the plane for us.That was one thing which made me happy about being rich and famous - I didn't have to go through security checks. I could board straightaway and on top of that I didn't have to worry about doing any work, being a royal comes with many benefits.

As I stepped out the car I noticed another car pulling up behind us. It must be Alexander and Angel. My parents stepped out and gave us all a warm smile.

"I know it's hard to go through this without any elders giving you help amor, but understand that this will all, be of good practice for you in the future. I wished that these circumstances could be avoided but unfortunately it's for your own good that we are doing this." Father said with a slight crack in his voice, sounding like he was about to cry.

"Si. I agree with your father. And don't you worry about not finding the perfect Prince Charming because my motherly intuition tells me, that there will be at least a few guys who will charm your heart and have loving personalities," mother said with a wink and giving me a smile of hope.

"And you guys," father said addressing all my other companions joining me, "you will all be of guidance to my daughter, there to provide advice and support should she feel lonely and miss her parents. Now don't just stand there, come on and embrace your dear father and mother in a hug."

I ran first, engulfing them both in a bear hug as Nikolai and Natalia joined after me. Alexander and Angel stood there awkwardly, looking around at the surroundings.

"Oh come on, you too!" Mother said with a smile. "Join the hug, we love you two too. We love all of you."

Those words were enough to send them running up to us, as the family embrace turned into a group hug, with me and my parents crying. The thought of leaving them, opened a wave of emotions as I felt tears stream through my face.
