It had been two days since I last talked to Rafael. It was 3:00am in the morning and I couldn't get any sleep because my thoughts were consuming me.

My mind and heart were at a disagreement over the whole Rafael situation. On one hand, my heart was telling me to believe Tiana (the Pixie), but on the other hand, my brain was ordering me to think about what Becky said about Rafael. Because, she wasn't lying - I had no idea what Raf's true identity was. For all I know, he could even be far worse than the Trixie but no one knows of it. I shrugged to myself before shaking my head.

"Rafael can't possibly be worse than the Trixie, what am I saying? He's had so many chances of doing something evil to me when we were alone but yet he has never harmed a single hair on my head," I whispered to myself.

I was pacing up and down my room as I let my thoughts wander on for a few minutes. However, my thoughts were cut when I heard a piercing scream echo throughout the hallway. The scream left me alarmed as I hurriedly rushed over to find what was happening.

This time I was glad to see that it wasn't just me who heard the scream. Natti, Angel and even Nik supported panic stricken faces as we rushed down the stairs. The scream was so loud, that even all the suitors were frantically making their way down.

To make matters worse everything was eerily quiet and dark. The light system was switched off until 6am at the earliest so the only possible light source was coming from the moon, which illuminated everyone's faces and made them look terrifying. Everyone looked as pale as a sheet of paper as they tried to huddle close to each other in order to stay safe. Not a soul was to be heard as a deathly silence hung in the air.

"So are we all going to just stand here or actually do something?" Mason asked, as all heads snapped to his direction.

Beside him, Ahmed slapped the top of his head. "Why don't you go investigate then Mason, since you obviously do not look worried at all. Heck, look at you! You don't even look the slightest bit startled."

Ahmed was right, I was wrong. Everyone but Mason look terrified.

Liam was the one to speak up next. "Yeah man, didn't you just hear the scream? Something bad has happened and you look normal, like it's just any other day."

"Oh so what do you want me to say?" Mason sneered. "I don't get scared easily, and besides it was probably just Mateo listening to some movie on full volume. You guys call yourselves men, but look at you." He pointed at the suitors and gave a look of disappointment.

Next to me I heard Natti breathing quickly. Oh no, this only meant one thing, she was about to lose her temper.

"ENOUGH!" Roared Natalia. "Stop bickering like little children. Don't any of you understand the seriousness of this situation? There may as well be a stranger in this house who tried to attack one of the staff because the scream sounded oddly familiar." This was enough to get everyone to shut up and be quiet as they all listened to my sister intently.

Somehow, when Natalia was talking Liam had found his way near me as he intertwined his fingers with mines and squeezed my hands in reassurance as if to say 'don't worry nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here'.

I was grateful for his touch because it made me feel a bit safer. So I looked up to him and gave him a small smile before focusing my attention on Natti again.
