Nik and Angel waltzed their way to the garden. Angel wore a blindfold covering her eyes as Nik guided her to the picnic spot, which he had decorated with a little bit of my help.

To mark the first month of their relationship, Nik decided to surprise Angel with a picnic in the garden and he asked me for help. Earlier on, I had Natti distract Angel until me and Nik got the picnic ready.

Nik packed the food in the basket, whilst I found the perfect spot in the garden: in front of the fountain, on the grass. I laid the red, checked picnic blanket and decorated the place with fairy lights. On the blanket I scattered some flower petals and confetti (which Nik ordered me to add in last minute). Last but not least, I had Dave get some wine glasses and set them in the middle, beside a bottle of red wine.

The sun was beginning to set as rich hues of red, mixed with orange spread across the sky. I was spying on their little date from the first floor window, I just wanted to see Angel's reaction to the whole picnic gesture. I brought the binoculars closer to my eyes as I skimmed over the garden to see where they were walking to.

"Nina! What on earth are you doing?" Natti shouted, causing me to jump is surprise and drop the binoculars. "A lady must never be caught spying, especially on her brother's date."

I gave a defeated sigh. "It's not like I was actually going to spy on them during their whole date. What are you doing here anyways?"

She bent over to pick up the binoculars from the cream coloured carpet. "On second thought, I think I might as well see what their doing right now."

I shook my head. "You only said that to steal the binoculars away from me!"

"Well, you were an easy target." She chortled. "Plus, you always jump when someone startles you, therefore it's not my fault whatsoever. Now shoo, I'm trying to watch what happens next between our brother and his girlfriend."

I groaned before I started to walk away. I was just about to start rushing down the stairs when Natalia's voice called out to me.

"Oh Nina, if you're going downstairs ask Dave to bring me some popcorn. I think I might stay here for a while." Natalia's voice echoed.

A lightbulb flashed in my head. It was time to get back at Natti for stealing my binoculars.

I skipped down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I scanned my eyes for the packet of popcorn. Once I found it, I heated it in the microwave until all the popcorn had popped. Then, I grabbed the salt bottle and emptied all its content into the popcorn. I smiled at myself evilly as I mixed the popcorn and added some chilli sauce for the topping of my beautiful creation. Now the only thing left to do was have Dave deliver it to Natti.

As if on cue, Dave strolled in the kitchen and looked at me weirdly. "Anything I can help you with?"

I flashed him an innocent smile. "Yes! Please deliver this bowl of popcorn to Natalia, she's on the first floor by the windows. And if she asks, tell her that it's strawberry sauce on the topping.

Dave let out a small laugh. "Do I even want to know?"

"It's just chilli sauce mixed with lots of salt," I replied with a shrug. His eyes widened for a few seconds before he shook his head and made his way upstairs, to give Natalia the popcorn.

I followed in suit, making sure no one sensed my presence. I wanted to see Natalia's reaction so badly!

I silently creeped up the stairs and hid myself behind a corner. Dave gave Natti the popcorn and made his way back downstairs. On his way, when he saw me, he gave me a slight wink, indicating that Natalia received the popcorn.
