As I stepped out of the car, lathered in a black suit, Noah held my hand. My father and his girlfriend stepped out of the front and made their way inside but Noah pulled me aside.

"You didn't tell me your dad has been dating the famous Alice Annie?! And he is going to propose her tonight!?"

"Wait. she's famous?"

"Only the famous fashion designer ever!"

"Fashion Designer?"

He rolled his eyes.

"Don't mess this up for you and me. Got it?"

I looked at him and nodded. We walked in to see all these people taking photos of my father and his girlfriend. They sat down and we walked over. To act funny, I posed at the cameras and Noah just sighed in embarrassment.

"What? They love me!"

He rolled his eyes and sat down.

"So. Alice. How is the fashion going?" Noah asked.

"Who is this?"

"Oh. That's Noah, my son's boyfriend and Cody....Well. Cody's enjoying photo time,"

"Oh! Darling! I love you too! I am open for autographs! Don't worry!"

Noah slapped my side to get me to pay attention.

"How long have you been interested in fashion Noah?"

"Oh! Ever since Alice entered the line! How did you two love birds meet?"

"Oh, we met when Alice was forced to design me an outfit."

My dad wrapped his arms around Alice.

"Then we fell in love,"

The food came to the tables and everyone ate.

When dessert was put in, my dad got down on one knee.

"Alice Annie, I have had the time of my life with you, and I was going to ask—,"

"Oh shut up and just kiss me already!"

Alice kissed my dad and when they finished he asked her a question.

"So is that a yes?"

"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"

They kissed again the photographers came rushing in to see the ring and them kiss.

I looked over at Noah and saw him tear up.

"Why are you crying?"

"It's so beautiful! A proposal dinner right in front of me! Come here you!" He hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.

After the dinner we went home and got dressed for that night.

I hopped in bed as Noah turned off his lamp and opened the window.

"Love you Cody,"

"Love you Noah,"

We kissed each other goodnight and went to bed.

I woke up to being in the bed alone. So I went to the kitchen. Cody was sitting down on the kitchen floor reading the newspaper with his latte in his hand. He spit some out.

"What?"

"I AM IN THE NEWS! AHH!"

"Let me see that!" I ripped the newspaper out of his hand and looked.

"Little boy's father, proposes to fashion artist, Alice Annie, or now known as Alice Anderson."

"Told ya so!"

I kissed him on the cheek and got up to grab a vegan donut out of the pantry. I ate it up and got dressed to go to my aunt's.

"Get dressed Cody, time to go to my aunt's,"

"Fine fine. But the paparazzi might be following me,"

"They will not!" I opened up the door to see camera men everywhere. I quickly shut the door and pressed my back against it. I was shirtless and had my shirt in my hand. I slid it on and continued to get dressed. Once I put on my shoes, I quickly ran out the door.

"Cody! Come on!"

"One second Darling! Make sure to get my good side."

I rolled my eyes and told the man to drive us to 645 Antigone Drive. Cody came in and sat down with a pair of sunglasses on his head.

"Put these on."

"Why?"

"They make you look cooler,"

I put them on and looked straight ahead. My Aunt was at the front door and she wasn't happy. I quickly pulled off the sunglasses and ran off to her doorstep.

"You kept a secret from me,"

"I didn't want to tell you over phone,"

"But your boyfriend did. He actually told me through the paper,"

She held up the paper and flipped to the second page.

"And I Quote: I am Cody Anderson, and I have a boyfriend! Noah Hayden! So to all those single ladies and single woman out their, I AM TAKEN! NOAH HAYDEN has stolen my luscious heart!"

I glared at Cody and took the sunglasses off.

"Aunt—,"

"Noah, I'm happy that you have finally become lesbian, but you have to tell me. Not your boyfriend. And just know I love you. Even if you weren't anything like me." She kissed me on the cheek and smiled. Cody hugged me and she joined in.

We went back to the apartment and packed our bags. It was time to leave. I checked my phone from text messages.

Cody's Mother: Noah, I am coming to get you two
I have told Cody's father
Tell Cody
He won't respond to my texts

I turned my phone off and looked at Cody.

"Why are you ignoring your mom?"

"Because she doesn't understand my life,"

"That's not an excuse."

He stayed silent.

"She is coming to pick us up and you will talk to her. Got it?"

"Got it,"
