As I grabbed my bag and wrestled it into my other bag, as I slipped on my shoes.

The Mummy had me scared out of my mind. And I can't live with that.

As I walked out to the front door, rain pooped down.

"Hey Noah?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry,"

"For what?"

"I'm sorry for being a failure at your sleepover."

As I looked down, he touched my shoulder.

"Cody, you didn't fail my sleep over. You made it better. Like in the movie Rapunzel!"

"I made up the contest of singing with our mouths full,"

"And making the cookies!"

"What's your point?"

"You don't make things worse. You make things better."

I blushed as rained smoothed my hair down.

It was late, and my house was a good ten minutes away.

"Hey, do you want to sing and act out a scene to Repunzel?"

Noah looked at me.

"Yes." I replied. "Let's sing I See The Light,"

"All those days watching from the windows,"

"All those years outside looking in,"

"All that time never even knowing,"

"Just how blind I've been," Noah sang.

He looked at me and kept singing.

"Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight,"

"Now I'm here suddenly I see,"

"Standing here, It's all so clear,"

"I'm where I'm meant to be!" I yelled as Noah picked me up in the air.

Just then I remembered what the boy from the bathrooms said. I leaned in closer to see Noah smile. Then we touched noses.

All of a sudden, I kissed him.

I had kissed Noah Hayden.
