Phantom
Prologue
A (ruined) town sits in the middle of nowhere. Strange substances (blood, and ectoplasm) cover the area, and (radioactive green) fog stops one from seeing more than a few feet ahead. The (remains of) buildings are slowly decaying along with everything in sight - the fog threatening to (having already) eliminate (destroyed) everything. There's a large buildings (school) that is still on fire. Cars (full of bodies stopped in place) are at a standstill. The town (a home to so many) is frozen in place (dead) as if in a picture (they're dead) - the only thing moving (THEY'RE ALL DEAD) is the fog.
This is Phantom.
A boy (protector, hero, FAILURE) holds a thermos. He falls to his knees (he's not dead). He screams in anguish (why isn't he dead). The boy sobs and screams into the night (he wishes he was dead).
This is Phantom.
Hours later, the fog lifts (it's too late). The boy is still sobbing, screaming (they're. Agents grab him by the arms (they blame him). He doesn't fight (he deserves this). They drag him into a truck (he should be dead). They put cuffs around his hands (they hurt, but he can't complain). The Agents shove him in a small cage (he can't complain because they're dead).
This is Phantom.
The boy is now in a lab (he deserves this). He has a muzzle on. A scientist in a white suit pulls out a scalpel (he deserves this). The scientist drags the scalpel across his stomach (he deserves this). The boy's screams are silenced by the muzzle (he deserves this). The scientist jabs the scalpel in further (does he really deserves this.... yes he does).
This is Danny...
Phantom is dead...
They're all dead....
Danny wishes he was dead.
Chapter 1
He stared numbly at the scientists in front of him. His glow was faint. The scientists were rushing around. Their frantic motions were futile. Danny knew they didn't know how to fix their mistake. He was finally going to die. He would finally be free. He would, hopefully, see his family again. He smiled and closed his eyes. He heard the alarms go off... the others were getting away. Good. His distraction worked. The other ghosts would be okay. His death would not be in vain.
The scientists were leaving. One who was nicer than the others - Agent C - gave him a sad look. Agent C uncuffed him, and took off his collar. He smiled sadly at the Agent, and lifted his head weakly.
Danny looked at the other through blurring vision, "Thank you." Then, he put his head back down, and closed his eyes.
The Agent was surprised at first, but then ruffled Danny's hair, crying slightly, "I'm sorry..."
Then Agent C stood up, and ran off. Danny soon heard shouts.
"AGENT C? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
Agent C's voice rang, "This is wrong! Let them go!"
"What's wrong with you?"
Agent C responded, "I'm done with this! I can't watch or assist with the murder of so many innocent beings!"
He heard scuffling, "Agent C?" It was Ember, "Where's Dipstick?"
There was silence.
"YOU MONSTERS!" There was an uproar.
Danny smiled. He would be avenged.
Everything went black.
