I walk across a thin grey line.
The vigilante sat on a roof.
I left my home and past behind...
A missing person flyer was grasped by a hero with dark hair.
To voyage out on my own.
The vigilante sighed as the hero approached him.
Now I have nowhere else to go,
The hero was surprised when the vigilante removed his black hood.
So I walk straight into the unknown.
A mask was pulled off.
Society might try to chain me down
The hero's eyes lit up red and his dark hair lifted.
But I burned their effect to the ground.
The hero's eyes widened in shock and he stopped his quirk.
I set myself free,
The vigilante smirked.
And now you can never catch me.
And jumped off the roof.
I have been called weak,
A blond haired boy woke up the next morning.
But I stopped being meek.
His mother met him downstairs.
After I cried,
The blonde looked at the TV.
I looked to the sky,
It showed a missing poster and a picture.
I gathered my courage...
The picture and the poster were undoubtedly the same person - just a different age.
And I transformed my hurt to rage...
Yet the eyes in the picture were so much more haunted than the poster.
So I walked away
Somewhere far away, a green haired boy smiled.
And turned to a new page.
He moved a chess piece.
I wrote my own book.
His opponent contemplated their next action.
And left my past shook.
The opponent moved his piece.
The world won't know what hit it.
A paw froze after seeing the boy's face.
I will show them bit by bit...
The boy moved his piece, winning the game.
How you can start as a zero...
His opponent seemed to freeze in shock.
And turn to a hero.
Then the vigilante grinned brightly.
I will make everyone's heads turn...
And he stood up...
And watch their biases burn.
"Checkmate."
"You win. Ask me anything."
"Do you think I can be a hero?"
Nedzu leaned back in surprise, "You can ask any question, but that's what you ask?"
"Yes. If you need any information to come up with an answer. I'm willing to give it. I just need to know... could I be a hero?"
"Any information?"
"Yes."
Nedzu's eyes glinted, "What's your quirk, age, and why did you become a vigilante?"
The vigilante turned off his voice changer, "For one thing, I'm 12 years old. 13 in two months." The vigilante started. Nedzu's eyes widened in shock at the young voice as the younger one continued, "I became a vigilante, because I wanted to help people, but I could never become a hero. Luckily, I realized vigilantism didn't apply to quirkless individuals since it was stated clearly that a vigilante uses their quirk to apprehend the victim. So there's a plus to the law ignoring us, apparently."
"And you are Quirkless?" Nedzu's eyes narrowed.
"Yes."
"Hmmm... And you still want to be a hero?"
"Yes."
Nedzu grinned at the vigilante, "Well then, Grey, would you like to attend UA? I think it's about time I get rid of that pesky rule."
"You're going to get rid of the rule that stops Quirkless kids from being students?" Grey asked, tone surprised.
Nedzu nodded, "If you can do it, so can others." He held out his paw, "If you stop your activities, I will get you registered as a student... Midoriya Izuku. Do we have a deal?"
The vigilante smirked, and as he stood up, the hood fell from his head revealing curly green hair. The boy took the handshake, "Of course, Sensei."
The twin menacing smiles were truly a cause for terror. Look out world - Midoriya Izuku is about to change everything.
