Chapter eight *Present*

Richard look at the idea Samuel has for the top by their bedroom window. He nod at the thought of it and smile.
"Why don't you rather just break out that part by your window and try making it like a dock? I think that'll look very beautiful," Richard say.
"That's exactly what mom said," Samuel laugh. Richard give him a smile and put his hands in his pockets nodding his head. "Thank you dad."
"No problem," he smile nicely at his son. "I just want to get some fresh air outside. I'll be with you in a second again."
Samuel nod and walk in with an odd look. Richard put his hand on his eyes and lay against the wall in regret. What has he done?

Sally take some snacks for her and look terrified at the door.
"Martin," she gasp and put her plate down. She look around and run to Sarah that stood there talking to Archie and Tasha. She grab her arm getting her attention. "Sarah, Martin is here."
Sarah gasp and look at this thin long man with glasses looking around. She take a deep breath in and approach him. He look at her with ice cold eyes. She grab his arm and walk with him out the back. She closes the door and give him an angry look.
"What the fuck are you doing here Martin?" She ask angrily.
Richard's attention immediately got drawn. He stand up from the seat and look at them.
"You're ignoring me," he reply angrily.
"We broke up!" She shout irritated at him. "Now is not the right time, okay?"
"Then when is?"
"You're an idiot! I don't want to be with you. You ruined everything for me!" She shout at him. He grab her arm viciously. "You ruined it for my girls!"
"You don't talk to me like that! You remember what happened last time you raised you bitchy tone at me."
"Fuck you," she push him away. "Don't you ever dare touching me again you fucking jerk!"
"Look at you," he said looking disgusted at her. "Cheap slut running a business like any whore would. Bet you're skinny from all the sexual diseases you've got!"
"I'm skinny like this because of you!" She scream at him and push him. "You killed me you asshole! You fucking killed me! I hate you!"
He grab her hand and raise his hand at her. Richard immediately saw it. He run to them and grab the man throwing a punch in face. Martin fall down and grab his bleeding nose. Sarah grab her mouth looking terrified at Richard then at the door that went open.
"There he is," Sally say to them. The police immediately approach them.
Martin jump up and punch Richard back. The police grab him and pull him away.
"I'll be back, Sarah!" he shout being led out.
"Oh my gosh," Sarah gasp and stand closer to Richard that was covering his cheek. She's shaking. He look around them at everyone that tried to see what's wrong.
"I'm sorry," she apologize to everyone. "Just go back inside."
The guest do as they're told and go back inside. She knows everyone will be talking.
"Come on, let's get you fixed up," Sarah say and show him to walk first.

"Thank you," Sarah thank Richard softly wiping his cheek softly where the mark will turn blue. Luckily it wasn't a big hit.
"No problem," he reply looking down. Lilly fold her arms with an odd look.
"Lilly, can you quickly ask Samuel for a pack of frozen vegetables?" Sarah ask softly and open her handbag looking for her bio oil. She always used it since it helped with stretch marks and any other marks. Lilly role her eyes and walk out.
"Why are you this nice to us?" Richard ask softly. She give a heavy sighed and take the bio oil. She let a little bit on her fingers and rub it on his cheek. "Especially after what we did to you?"
"Welcome to being a grown up," she whisper. He stare deep in her eyes. She really is such a beauty. "It's childish to keep grudges."
He nod slowly and take a deep breath of her sweet scent in.
"You've changed," he whisper softly. She bite her bottom lip and look down. "Sarah, I don't know what to say even...It just...It feels so fucking good to see you again. I've really missed you."
"I know," she reply and look at him again. "I've missed you too Richard. Sometimes I still do."
He give her a little smile. Lilly enter the bathroom and give her the frozen pack. She take the pack and put it on his face.
"So, you lost weight," Lilly mention at her. "What disease do you have?"
"Fuck off Lilly," she mutter and show him to hold the pack. He take it and hold it against his face. "I don't have any disease, okay? I'm just...near to anorexia, but I'll get out of it soon."
"How long?" Richard ask terrified. She take out her make up bag and look at him.
"Some time," she reply and take out some foundation. "It doesn't matter anyway. Atleast it's good for business."
"So you're a designer now?" Lilly ask with an odd look.
"Yes. I also manage modelling, photography and fashion," she reply take the frozen pack away. "The swelling isn't that bad. I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable tonight or tomorrow at the wedding."
He nod. She grab the towel and dry up his cheek. She take some foundation and out it on his cheek.
"That is way too light for his skin," Lilly role her eyes.
"Just shut up," Sarah reply a little annoyed and grab some powder. She immediately start to patch it up until it blended in with the rest of his skin. He give her a smile that nodded satisfied and put her things back in her bag. He turn around and look in the mirror nodding impressed.
"Mom, Charlton is here," Riley smile knocking softly on the door. "He wants to see you and dad. It's kind of important."
