i was harshly tugged away from jaehyun as i stared at him with wide eyes.

what had just happened ? i thought he was actually nice.

i simply could not believe my ears. 

was everything just an act ?

i began to doubt the what ifs.

" i...i really thought hyung would trust me again, " haechan let out in between sobs. 

"aww, you’re such a baby” i laughed, placing a comforting hand over his back, while the other ruffling his hair.

" 울지마! " ( don't cry ! ) i continued.

" hyuckie, you know your hyung better than i do. I'm sure he has his reasons. don't be to bothered with it. you're a really good member you know ? I'm sure jae cherishes you as much as i do. " i told haechan. 

“jae…” he scoffed, “so you just have nicknames for everyone now?” 

frowning, i pulled haechan in for a hug. “that’s not it, haechan, jae oppa has been really nice to me… he’s not gonna become my best friend just like that.”

haechan pov||

i grinned at the girl hugging my waist and a thought struck me. 

“yah. let’s sneak out.”

“should we go back now?” soojin tugged my sleeve, anxiousness visible on her face. i glanced at her furrowed eyebrows. cute. 

shaking my head, i continued to pull the nervous girl to various shops, urging her to purchase new clothing. yet she was unwilling.

sighing, i bent down to her level, “hey… isn’t this what all the girls like? shopping? c’mon, soojin… let’s have some fun alright?”

i tilted her chin up, but what i saw shocked me.

her forehead was beaded with sweat and her eyes were glassy. i held her shaking hands as she spoke, “haechan.., i think there’s someone following us.”
