He Returned

I shrunk my brows, narrowed my eyes and stood there waiting to believe that it was really him!

His appearance had changed. Long spiked orange hair, reddish brown eyes with huge physical appearance. He had an earring worn on his left ears. A fair skin and long nails.

He approached towards me slowly. It was really hard to believe that he had survived the incidence too.

“Jack! Is that you?” I asked. I just wanted to confirm it.

“Yes pal.” He replied.

As he walked towards me, I too took slower steps towards him. And then we hugged each other. But as I touched him, I felt something weird. He was huge and cold too. But I ignored it, just thinking about his return.

“H….How did you get out of there?” I asked curiously.

“I guess we shouldn’t waste time talking about it right now. I’ve heard that the witch is still alive and is in your city.”

I couldn’t tell him how happy I was by seeing him alive again. I could hardly remove any words from my mouth.

“Yeah bro, you’ve heard it right. Not just in the city, but she’s in our school too. Much stronger and badass than before.”

“Hmm”, he sighed.

“But I’m desperate on knowing about your survival from that accident. How could you –. “

“Not now bro” he cut me off.

“I guess it’s time to put down that witch again.” He continued.

“I’m afraid Jack. She’s got one of my friend under her control. I can’t risk his life.”

“Don’t worry Dany, if he’s under her control then I’m sure she won’t hurt him.” He said. “Alright pal, I’ll have to leave. I’ve got some serious work to finish. I’ll meet you over here after your school tomorrow.” he continued.

“Why don’t you visit my home once?” I asked, turning my head in the opposite direction towards my house. But as I turned back to him, he had disappeared.

“That’s strange!” I said to myself.

But I was truly excited and confident enough this time. But his return was still a mystery. I ran back to home.

Next day in school

Ria was surprised seeing me very happy that day in the class. She smiled at me and asked,

“What’s the matter, Dany? You seen too enthusiastic today.”

“Yes indeed I am.” And I slowly took my face to her ear and spoke softly.

“Jack’s back.” And I moved back.

Her smile had turned into a serious face. I knew she had many questions in her mind.

“How’s that possible? You said that he had died!” she said whispering.

“I know. But yesterday when I was going home, he arrived suddenly. His appearance had changed a lot. But it was confirmed that it was him. I too couldn’t believe at first, but it is really him!” I explained.

“And she’s gonna meet him today, after the school.” I continued.

She still seemed confused, still shocked. But as I moved forward to tell her something more, Yen and Julia arrived in the class at the same time. Julia had her hand on his shoulder. They both looked happy.
