Selena's P.O.V

"Good afternoon, Ms.-"

"I'm Selena Poblete an intern from Emerald hospital in New York."

Nagulat pa siya dahil sa sagot ko. Emerald Hospital is one of the hospital in New York at maimpluwensiya ang hospital because they have their good and intelligent doctors and smart interns.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Selena. thanks for information. What is your field by the way?" Naguusap kami habang naglilinis ng kamay namin dahil ooperahan si Manong. Medyo matanda na ang babaeng doctor na kausap ko.

"I am neurosurgeon, Ma'am." I answered

"Oh... that's why you know his situation because you are focusing in our intellectual weapon. I am Doktora Vista I am surgeon in all field."

Humanga ako sa kanya. That's why she looks smart.

"You can assist me right?"

"Of course. It is very pleasure to assist a doctor in all field." I smiled and wear my mask we enter on the O.R. The nurse beside her help her to wear the gown.

"By the way guys, she is Selena Poblete an intern in one of the famous hospital in New York." She introduce me in the three nurses in my side and one on her side

"Welcome to our hospital, Doktora. Ako nga po pala si Basty" Bati ng isang lalaki na maliit.

I smiled on him.

"Let's start the operation. Where's Dr. Sue?"

The doors open and a tall guy came in.   Hindi pa nakasuot ang mask niya kaya kitang-kita ang matangos na ilong at ang mapupulang labi. Ghad! His handsome. He look at me at kumunot ang noo.

"Who is she?" Tanong niya kay Doctora Vista.

"She's an intern. Let's do the operation. By the way, Doktora Selena he is Dr. Hamsel Sue. He also from abroad. Hamsel she is Selena Poblete intern from Emerald Hospital in New York." Naupo na si Doktora Vista para maumpisahan ang operation. While the guy is still staring at me.

'What his problem?'

"Dr. Hamsel?" Tawag muli ni Doktora. Tumango lang ang lalaki. Hindi ko alam kung pwede na ba ako pumasok sa operation room dahil intern ako galing ibang bansa but I think puwede dahil hindi naman sila umangal.

"The man is have internal bleeding near on his Pons act that's make the patient sights are become blurred." Doktora Vista explain on the CT Scan of the man.

Pons act is the ridge between our medulla and other parts of the brain included the regulates movement which is sign kanina na hindi maigalaw ng lalaki ang kamay niya, sleep and arousal.

I nodded because I know her point at ion nga ang naging sign ko kanina kaya nalaman ko na ang may problema ay ang brain niya.

"His internal bleeding is very near on his Pons act. His sleep, regulates movements and arousal may affect right Doktora Vista?" Dr. Hamsel said while staring at me. Doktora Vista is busy on her operation.

Nagpalit ng puwesto si Doktora at Dr. Sue. Si Dr. Sue na ngayon ang nagoopera.

"Give me the scalpellus."  He said dahil ako ang assistant imbes na angnuse ang magbibigay ay ako. I really want to watch operations tulad niyo. Halatang professional si Dr. Hamsel. I gave him the scalpel.

Scalpellus is the latin word for scalpel which is ginagamit itong word kapag nasa abroad ka. I smiled secretly dahil humahanga ako sa kakayahan niya and it's obvious.

"Check the aparatus, Nurse Garcia." The boy name Basty check the blood of the patient. His still busy on the operation and I'm focusing on watching. Gosh. It's true na kung gaano kalaki ang fist mo ay ganoon din kalaki ang utak mo.

"The blood is fine, Doc." The Doctor nodded.

Ilang oras din ang nakalipas bago matapos ang operation. Eto ang pinakamabilis a operation sa utak. Siguro ay sanay na ang doctor.

"The Operation is successful." Nakangiting sabi ni Doktora Vista. Masaya ako dahil nakasama ako sa operasyon na ito.

Lumabas na kami ng OR at ililipat na ang apsyente sa isang kuwarto. Pagkalabas ng OR ay hinanap ng dalawang doctor ang pamilya ng pasyente. Pero kahit ako ay walang nakita.

"Wala ba siyang kamag-anak?" Doktora Vista asked

"Doktora! Pasensya na ho pero wala hong pamilya ang inoperahan niyo and it takes 200,000 pesos ho. Hi di pa ho kasama ang mga iinumin na gamot niya." The nurse running toward us at sinabi iyon

Kawawa naman siya. Mukhang namroblema si Doktora Vista.

"Eto ang mahirap dito kapag hindi muna nagbabayad ang oasyente at nauuna sikang gamutin." Umiiling na sabi nito

Ako ang nagdala sa lalaki.

"I will pay the bill Doktora Vista." I said at mukhang nagulat pa ang tatlo kong kaharap. Agad din binawi ni Dr. Hamsel ang pagkagulat niya at kumunot noong tinitigan ako. He always doing that.

"Are you sure Doktora? It almost 200,000 not included his medicine and some stuff." I smiled on her.

"I am willing to pay his bills. Wala siyang kamag-anak na magbabayad sa operasyon niya. Ako ang nagdala sa kanya dito at ako din ang kasama niya   I will pay the bills no matter what." I smiled pero kanina ko pa napapansin na may kakaiba sa tingin no Dr. Hamsel.

"You are a good doctor. Pero sa'n ka kukuha ng pera? You are just intern." Curious na tanong ni Doktora

"I am daughter of Mr. Poblete from Cavite.  I have three brothers businessman. I don't think so na hindi ako makakahingi ng pera sa kanila? Hahaha..." Nakitawa rin siya at tumango

"Oh, ikaw pala ang anak niyang babae? Kaya pala pamilyar ang mukha mo dahil kamukha mo ang mommy mo Hija."

"Do you know my mom?"

"Yea-Mariah!" Argh! That voice.

Kinunutan ko ng noo ang tumawag sa akin then I saw my three brothers.

"Mariah?" Mahina ngunit narinig kong saad ni Dr. Hamsel

I turn around to saw his facial expression but he just look at my brother.

"Are you damn okay? How's your health?" Kuya Zaren asked while hecking me nakangiti lang si Doktora Vista na animo'y sinusuri ang mga Kuya ko.

"I'm fine. Andito ako hi di dahil ako ang naaksidente Kuya. Argh! By the way, She is Dok-

"Good afternoon, Ninang." My Kuya Zeron greeted at ganun na lang ang pagkagulat ko dahil sa sinabi. Gosh! Ninang niya si Doktora?

Doktora smiled. "He is my Godchildren, Hija." I nodded dahil hindi ako makapaniwala

"Zeron, Zaren and Zoren this is Dr. Hamsel Sue." Ngumiti lang ang dalawa kong Kuya while my topakin Kuya which is Kuya Zeron stared at him. Wala naman emosyon ang pinakita ni Dr. Sue.

"I'm paying the bill of my patient earlier, Kuya Zaren can I borrow a money?" Kumunot ang noo niya.

Shit! Bubungangaan niya ba ako dito? Nakakahiya kaya.

"Tsk. How much?" Halatang nagagalit ito sa tanong ko

"Ahm... it's only 200,000 or 300,000 pesos." I smiled para payagan akong umutang sa kanya. Syempre bilabg kapatid ay hindi ko na iyon babayaran no. Hahahaha...

Nagpaaalam na rin kami at umalis na sa hospital after paying the bills. Ipapasundo ko na lang siya sa driver namin. Gagawin ko siyang hardinero or driver man lang sa manshion if he wants. Mahirap kapag magisa lang aa buhay no.
