I cried myself to sleep that night.

Arthur called me first thing in the morning. He told me to meet him at HQ.

I got dressed and walked out to my car fighting back tears remebering how Sam used to open the door for me.

I arrived at HQ in ten minutes and walked through the door and saw Arthur waiting for me.

"How are you feeling?" Arthur asked studying my face.

"Heartbroken." I sighed

He wraped and arm around me and lead me up to the roof.

We looked out over the city like Sam and I used to.

I held back my tears.

"Do you wanna talk about it Libby."  Arthur asked looking at me.

"Yeah. It would be nice to let it all out." I sighed

I told him everything from how I felt about Sam,to how much pressure I felt having to lead my people, and down to the fellings I have for him right now.

"Whoa. You have a lot on your mind right now." He said stroking my cheek.

"Tell me about it." I sighed I took his hand from my cheek and held it in my hand.

"I like you a lot Arthur."  I was definetly not ready to say 'I love you' yet I knew deep down I had love for Arthur.

"I like you a lot two." Arthur said and he pulled me in for a kiss. I didn't pull away like the first time we kissed a shock pulsed through me and I kissed him back.

When we both finally pulled away we were breathing hard.

"Liberty?" I looked over to see John walking up to us.

"John." I said out of breath.

"Sam wants me to deliver the message that he is leaving for a while." John said.

I looked at him and then sighed. "Okay give him my best wishes." I said running a hand through my hair. John nodded and left.

Arthur looked back at me. "Libby, I just want to apolgize for the dumping the water on you the first day we met. I wanted to impress you but I messed up really bad." He blushed at me.

I chuckled. "I want to apolgize to for beating you up the first day we met. I wanted to show you who was in charge." I said grinning he scowled.

"That was just a lucky shot." he said smirking at me.

"Sure keep telling yourself that."

He smiled and put an arm over me and there is no place on earth I'd rather be.

i know this is short but i needed to have a chapter with just Liberty and Arthur to explain somethings.
