“Gyth..” I murmured to myself as I walked towards the bathroom door.It was a strikingly unusual name but nonetheless, it sounded really appealing.
I can’t stop my mouth from dropping on the floor upon noticing the bathroom’s interior. I can’t believe how huge it is.
I immediately found the cabinet beside the sink, which contains three drawers. I opened the three drawers and found clean towels, shampoos, soaps, scrubs, hairbrush, and all sorts of ponytails and hairpins, as if he was expecting me to come.
Above the sink is a large mirror with a small medicine cabinet sitting on top of it.
On the left side of the room is the shower covered with translucent glass and door.
Lastly, my eyes glimmered towards the huge bathtub at the outermost corner of the room.
I stepped inside it, imagining myself soaking in a floral scented bath.
I giggled softly prancing towards the cabinet. I placed my worn clothes on top of it and went inside the shower.
After taking a much-needed bath, I wrung my hair and covered myself with a towel.
I neatly folded my clothes on top of the cabinet and proceed to brushing my hair in front of the mirror.
I picked the silky dress he handed me and slid it on. It surprisingly fits me perfectly and sits exactly just above my knees.
I suddenly darted towards my own reflection on the mirror. I almost forgot that the shade of my hair changed.
I stared onto the silver strands of my hair whilst gently stroking it with my fingers.
I reached for the mirror attached on the wall, my hand caressing the reflection of my face.
I stared at my silver hair flowing just above my pelvis.
My attention suddenly averted to my eyes. My heart skipped a beat as I noticed their shade.
Silver
I can’t believe I haven’t noticed all this time. I sighed leaving the matter for later.
I gave myself one last look at the mirror before walking out the door.
I instantly found him sitting on his desk, looking over files after files.
His eyes are furrowed as he focused strenuously on each files. I wondered almost immediately what the files may contain.
After putting down the file resting in his hands, his gaze shifted towards me upon noticing my static figure beside the bathroom door.
“You can take your rest.” Gyth said, leaning his back on his seat before getting back to what he’s doing.
I nodded and settled myself on the window seat.
I turned to face the window peeking myself through. The curtains where half open unveiling the vast trees and creatures roaming around the night.
I cringed upon remembering the saliva drooling chimera. It was the most terrifying thing I saw apart from seeing my own body laying on the cold ground.
The huge moon shone brightly through the dark, acting as a guiding light. I let myself consume the view of this place, until I drifted my gaze towards Gyth.
He’s leaning on his desk watching me carefully. My breath got caught in my throat as his cold stare pierced through my soul.
I wanted to look away but I found myself unable to move.
